No it's not amazing or revolutionary or really all that unique but by god it's a damn effective mine on the cheap.

Old gif.

As these are pressure sensitive mines they are not team specific. Best watch your step out there.

It's faster ingame.

Print screening 1440x900 makes for buttery smooth movement and artificial lag.

Apocalypse? Dude, these were WWII-era explosives. If you wish to speak in CoD terms, it was like the Claymore of the time. This is cool, I might dl it later, but I'm off.

Yes! Thanks grif, I love all forms of mines so this is perfect (I'm gonna make a custom gib set though, I like my fire) :D

I cover the battlefield in them and then shoot out of my bunker with a custom coach gun and .50 caliber machinegun.

Now I just need to make a gun that can launch these things. Actually, I'm gonna make a gun that shoots a bomb that explodes into like 20 of these. I've been meaning to make a minefield deployer for a while now...

They rises kind of slowly, but still, they're cool. They definitely do a better job than the Darkstorm multi-mine, but too bad they are only placable in build mode.

Dumb idea; by using Darlos' bunker module deployer, and implement it to a greande, you'll get your bouncing betty.

Grenade>Toss>Activate>digs a hole>arms mine

Woo, anti-grav awesome!
Looks good, I'll try it.

But is it really in bunker-build mode only?
If so :(

I found it to be rather laggy when placing 15 or so of them, could you put in a timer to reduce lag?

Has noone else noticed that these are the mines on Halo3 Multiplayer map 'Sandtrap' if you walk out into the desert, and you get damaged by random explosions, its these, watch a video of them. and are you sure they are called 'Bouncing Betty's' because i thought that was the name of the huge circular bomb that they used in the Dambusters? hmm i am probably wrong but still. anywho. Nice one.

Yes this is definitely a bouncing betty. They were anti-personnel mines that do pretty much what this one does.

They were great in Postal.
You use the map editor to make Ostrich spawners, make them spawn Ostriches at a ludicrous rate, and plant Bouncing Betties all over the place!
Ear death ensued.

And why would anyone else care?
