Re: Making .gifs for Dummies
Is there anyway to do this without my frame rate dropping to something around 1 FPS?

Image This is fun to watch while listening to music. With the amount of lag that would generate, you could probably listen to a whole album before it ends I don't think you can use compression on gifs...though I could be wrong.

Not everybody can use it. I've had this for a long time now, I've got windows vista and it works... Of course it came with Paint Shop Pro so it might be a different version.

Re: Making .gifs for Dummies
To screen capture on a mac, press: CMD + SHIFT + 4This should help anyone trying to tutor Mac users on making GIFs. Personally, I'd download the new Photoshop trial ( http://tryit.adobe.com/uk/cs4/photoshopextended/?sdid=DPHEQ#) and then follow a video tutorial on youtube (like this one, http://tryit.adobe.com/uk/cs4/photoshopextended/?sdid=DPHEQ#), pausing as I go along.

Re: Making .gifs for Dummies
I miss that old times when I was recording MOVIES WITH FRAPS (!) I was doing that with build 13 (second "!") Can someone tell me, what changed? (I understand that changed a LOT, but why was it possible to record videos with Fraps, while Fraps only supports games/apps using Direct 3D?)
P.S. Sorry if this post is OFFTOPIC.
