Post Spriter looking for work
Okay, im not sure if this the right forum but im going for it anyway.
For quite a while I've worked on private projects as a spriter for my own enjoyment more than anything else, with my mate doing 90% of the coding and none of the sprites. Hes been a registered user for a while now apparently and advised that if i wanted to do anything i should take a glance on the forums, and so here i am.

I'm dedicated and a will finish most projects rapidly (depending how much im on tf2 :D), but despite my quick work it does have an air of quality about it. Ive touched on coding but don't ask anything special of me, which is why im here specifically as a spriter.

Finally, but probably most importantly, im looking for a project to put my name too, i will do freelance work for small scale mods (such as single weapon mods) and this is no hardship. But getting involved with a reasonable team would make me feel much better.

Oh and for the record, I will do any mod you throw at me, no matter how outlandish or wild.

You seem pretty confident, but I'm gonna have to go with Thunder Toes, we've had a few 'spriters' that came looking for work, non of which were able to draw anything short of a recolored Pokemon (fun fact, FF's spellchecker has Pokemon as a valid word).

Oh and, welcome to Datarealms. :)

He wants to want to have a spriter, but he doesn't really want a spriter or any sprites.

Here's 4 pieces from my library, i just picked these at random for you to have a look at.
I quite like the PARA and the Dragunov, but id like to know what you think aswell.

And as i said im new so be nice :)

I think some are saved under 24-bit as opposed to 256 colors, old error i used to make sorry D:

*EDIT* Fixed the 256 issue, it was the deagle and savage in 24-bit.

...Those are actually pretty good. The PARA is my favorite, but the dragunov is also cool. The desert eagle looks a bit... bland, but that's not such a big trouble. I am no spriter, but I say that stuff you made is cool, a lot better than most people can make.

Do you specialize in making weapons, or is that the only thing you chose to show?
Also, I love the shape of them, but something about the shading/color choices don't sit right with me.

I don't really specialise in weapons, its just what i prefer to do as you can completely finish one in a relatively short time. I understand what you mean on shade, and i think i can explain. When i took them out of 24-Bit and into 256 colors i didnt correct the colors, so there slightly off.

Ah so it's a palette thing. That's probably it.

Feel free to show some of your other stuff.

This is a small actor i did a while back, my mate coded it so thats why it actually works in game :D.
I just took a screenshot of it, i couldn't think of any other way to get a picture of it without all the gibs as individuals.
