   |   Napalm rocket (Update: v1.2: tweaked sprites, new weapon)After some tinkering with the Ronin bazooka, I thought; "Why not make a rocket that gibs napalm instead of shrapnel?" So I started to make a napalm rocket launcher, but then ended up making 3: The napalm rocket launcher, Super Napalm, and the Napalm carpet launcher. Here's some pics: The Napalm rocket: In action: The Super Napalm rocket: In action (it actually makes more than that): Unfortunately for Dafred, the bounce-back of napalm seems to have killed him. poor guy... Napalm Carpet rocket: Napalm Grenade launcher: Blows up on impact. Bouncy Grenade launcher: Not as bouncy as I'd like, but can ricochet off walls without exploding (most of the time...) NEW: Napalm spread rocket Shoots 5 rockets in semi-rapid sucession. Also fixed the Carpet Napalm Rocket, thanks to Geti. Apparently, Napalm only seems to work well on flesh, and not metal or bone.

   |   Re: Napalm rocketMeh.
What I mean by that is this: It looks like you took the Ronin bazooka and changed the hue of part of it, but it is fun to play with.

Maybe you should improve the sprite and possibly make a napalm actor.

   |   Re: Napalm rocketMaybe it isn't clear in the picture, but it has color bands on the muzzle of the bazooka to show what it is:
 Napalm: one band ( I )
 Super napalm: two bands ( I I )
 Napalm carpet: sideways t ( --+ )

Maybe more tinkering with the sprites is in order...

   |   Re: Napalm rocketI see what you did here. It's not too bad but apparently most people dislike small mods...because they're small mods.
You could expand on this though, make a fire/napalm based mini-faction.

   |   Re: Napalm rocketthrow a ronin molotov on the ground in front of you. same effect.to delay the fire, use StartTimeMS = <whatever> in the "AddEmission" Block.

People dislike unoriginality.Well yeah but I'm sure if he had half a brain he would have released it into the minor mod compendium, too bad that's gone now. I'm pretty sure nobody there would hate him for unoriginality since most of those mods are pre-existing guns and hacked bunker modules.

   |   Re: Napalm rocketFor anyone who can't be arsed to do this themselves, I'd say it's a pretty good mini mod, and because it's just an edit of vanilla stuff, it fits well with it.
Still, if you've got the time and the will to do it, make a napalm faction out of this

   |   Re: Napalm rocketA more original sprite would hide your lazyness. Well-executed lazyness though.

   |   Re: Napalm rocket (Update: v1.1)I don't see the problem in the sprites, since Data has made the rocketlauncher and homing rocketlauncher with the same difference in the sprites as Point.blank did.

   |   Re: Napalm rocket (Update: v1.1)For the Bouncy Grenade Launcher, you could use the material LSD in this, viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13524&start=0 .
