Re: amrobotics -updated 21.9.
No one makes mods for Build 18 because Build 23 is the current build.

OH COME ON. Yes it was a dumb and lazy question, I am unwell at the moment and quite tired. You could have just said yes, but no, you people have nothing better to do than argue. SURE, I'M ♥♥♥♥ DUMB AND IGNORANT.

I do. I enjoy looking back at past builds. I still play build 1.

Yup. I move up the builds every hour of play. I'm currently on build 9, the IGF build I believe.

Re: amrobotics -updated 21.9.
Where would one go to get all of the previous builds? I only discovered CC around B20.
Also, to be on topic again, I think a monocycle would be a fun, but rather complex vehicle to add to the growing steampunk forces. Also, steam artillery, and the (Spoilers) final spectacular explosion of Steamboy's castle. But those are pretty obvious wants. I'm not really sure how you could go about doing the resulting ice spikes, but it's a perfect area denial kind of device.

Re: amrobotics -updated 21.9.
Before some point grif had a link to all of them and posted them. Naturally, I downloaded and archived them all, although my brother keeps deleting them, so I don't have builds 6 and 17. He claims it's to make room for his stuff, but I have a suspicion that he may need enough space to delete them all within a month.

Re: amrobotics -updated 21.9.
Delete all his stuff so you have room for yours.
Also; when you say Build 1, do you mean DIRT, or the first build of the game when it was actually called Cortex Command? I've been looking for a download of the first across caches but I can't find it anywhere, rahrahrah.
Oh and flammable, you should definitely upload all of the builds somewhere else so you have backups, that way you can just reinstall in case they get deleted.

Uh, the first build of cortex command (and every subsequent build) is still hosted on datarealms.com. There's a stickied thread in general that has the links.
As for DIRT there's really nothing "playable" in it; CC b1 is so incredibly basic that there's nothing to be offered from DIRT builds.

Re: amrobotics -updated 21.9.
Grif: Huh. I did not know that.
I imagine DIRT was more of a proof-of-concept testing out the basic engine, then.

Re: amrobotics -updated 21.9.
Many of my friends enjoyed CC but never wanted to purchase, and also like playing in B18. Along with comments from other DRLFF members, I rest my case.
