Once the power of the throw reaches maximum it never come down again. This causes problems sometimes.

How would it work though? Sometimes its useful to be at full power, and wait till someone comes in range, or whatever. If it cycled up and down it would kind of suck since you'd have to time it exactly so to get the farthest distance.

Currently it can be useful to have the charge at full since you can predict the grenades arc effectively by instead of timing an angle to match a varying throw power.

I agree it would be useful to have another way to actually determine the throw power specifically ingame, but how?

Scroll wheel? It would be a bit tricky though, since that's already "change weapon". Perhaps "change weapon" would be temporarily replaced with "change power of throw", with the lowest setting being "cancel throw" for if you accidentally pulled out the grenade.

I hadn't thought of that since I use the keyboard. For mouse users that would be a perfect solution.

It would suck to have an entire two keys/one button devoted to changing the grenade power, though, since it's very easy in MP to max out the key press limit as it is.

a "grenade pack" could solve the problem.
you order a "grenade pack" which would cost say 20 gold and will hold unlimited grenades but each time you throw a grenade you loose 10 gold or a set prise.

I don't like the grenade pack idea. Just replace the standard grenade with "grenades" you buy them which holds three but costs the same price. Grenades are not overpowered so making them cost a lot would make more people not use them even if they are implemented correctly.
