Through Winamp, of course.

Does winamp lag even a bit between songs? (When playing CC that is, not normally.)

Mine does when playing CC. Especially when things start getting slow, windows media player starts to lag horribly when its changing to the next song and this also effects CC by making it even slower and making all the sound effects played repeateadly and annoyingly.

Otherwise while its playing the song, theres no problem. Its when its loading the next song.

EDIT: Hey wow, WinAmp is really made out of WIN. Plays the songs with absolutely no lag at all! :D
Just downloaded it and installed. I'm using this thing from now on!

Except I couldn't find anything that could minimize WinAmp to the tray like WMP, with the buttons still usable.
I'd use WinAmp otherwise.

I just use hotkeys. I suppose you could try using one of the bar skins, but I imagine you've already tried those.

Do I see Iji stuff in there, Numgun?

Anyway, I usually hear the default CC soundtrack, but when I feel that something more epic is needed, I play some song by The Pillows, mostly Blues Drive Monster, Sleepy Head and Crazy Sunshine. Nothing beats bodyslamming a dropship with a coalition light carrying 30 grenades, while shouting some rhyme in japanese that you totally fail to understand. ( The Pillows is a japanese band, in case you haven't noticed.)

Japanese bands ftw. Whatever they sing is unknown to me, but they do sound good!

Yeah, just that one song from Iji, mainly the tutorial/intro song, then some from tiberian sun and new menu music from Zone of Enders. Also Deep Purple for boss theme. That one was inspired by Barkley's shut up and jam rpg.

Japanese stuff is pretty much the only music I have that has lyrics. I cringe easily when subjected to poor lyrics, so I end up with little music with lyrics. I resort to languages I can't understand.

Amon Amarth is an excellent metal band whos music goes well with most action style games, its what i usually listen too while fighting off the AI hordes of cc.
