Post Help with ACrab Foot Groups SOLVED!
Hello again, I need some help with an ACrab I am making. Right now all it does is sink into the ground. I think it has to do with the foot groups. Two things that I noticed was that the foot groups are not at the the tip of the leg, If someone wants to help with that that would be great, BUT the main Problem is that it digs in to the ground too much. I am not sure what to do to change this. I have attach the .rte with the ACrab in it for those willing to help to look at.

Thank you in advance for any and all help.

It is now working!!!!

It may seem simple and a WTF thing but... I changed the PushForce for the limb paths from 9000 to 1500 and it no longer sinks into the ground. I hope my little episode with this helps other people.

might be something to do with the mass and the material of the feet.

I will DL and have a look as I am learning about creating legs.

Cheers

I think you and I are having the same problem.

I'm also making a crab actor, with many things built with the dreadnaught as a reference.

Only problem is that what you're/I'm making isn't the same size as the dreadnaught, which means the offsets, joints, footgroups, and walkpaths are all referenced differently.

I've spent all day trying to figure out how they're referenced, and it's still not turning out right.

But I may be getting assistance soon, and if it gets figured out I'll PM you right away. :)

the only offsets that are off on my ACrab are where the foot atom groups are... I think it may be part of the problem... but i also think the way the atom groups are set up is the main problem

WTF!!! got it to work... the offsets are off but it no longer sinks.... I will post what I did in the first post.
