Post Re: Armored Brain Units for Dummies (Book coming soon!)
First, this is an incredible mod. It was everything I expected and more. The rocket-fist was fun to say the least.
But there were a few little things I think could be better.

1. I agree he is a little weak to be a behemoth. Most notable is how easy it is to tear his legs off.
2. I did manage to get the outer part of his armor off and expose the inner circuitry. And I have to say, it looks amazing, but I think it would make sense that inner circuitry would be weaker. After all, he has an armor plate to protect it.
3. If he loses limbs his jet pack becomes a little too powerful. Not sure if you can/want to change this, just letting you know.

1. I'm redoing all the gib/impulse/wound/joint limits. This will fix that.
2. The inner circuitry is actually weaker wound and joint strength wise, though I guess I can lower it further.
3. This is due to the actors weight dropping from the mass of the lost limbs. It happens on vanilla actors too, though it's probably more noticeable on the Behemoth since the drops in weight are larger. Honestly if a lot of your limbs are gone, you probably need the stronger jetpack for mobility as a trade off. I will probably leave this as is.

You have no idea how long it took me to realize what you posted there.
If you already volunteered to darken it, should I scratch it off the to do list?

I totally blanked out on how to fix the recoile

AEmitter or TDExplosive. Short-lived AEmitter that emits your desired particle, or a TDExplosive with a tiny fuse that explodes into your desired particle. If you need code, just ask.

Exactly, do this LFoW.
Some recoil would be nice to make it look believable, so make the AEmitter about as heavy as the hand is now.
I generally prefer the TDExplosive method due to the fact that it inherits velocity, meaning there's a largely reduced chance of hitting yourself when you go too fast. Anyway, I personally think that the Dreadnought Launcher should appear as a fist replacement; as in a dreadnought appears on its wrist instead of the fist, supposedly using the same mechanism as the fist launcher.

Honestly I just don't want to recycle the rocket fist. It'll be an under slung launcher of some sort. The only other method I'd so would be simply a firearm that appears as if the Behemoth is tossing a Dreadnaught.

If I highlight (not select) the rocket-fist in the scene placement menu, the game freezes (no error message); however, highlighting it in the in-game buy menu does not freeze the game.

I read that you didn't mean for it to be in the menu, but just letting you know.

Yeah, I'll make sure it's removed from both scene placement and the buy menu. It can't even be picked up at the moment (so don't drop it off your Behemoth right now!)

A very good mod!DL'ed!But it could use some improvements:
1)A set of weapons(standart):SMG,Shotgun, grenade, pistol so we could buy something for him.
2)Make it heavyer:once dropsip crashed theres a tiny rock from it and the robot starts making back salto when hit by it,and becomes uncontrolable.
3)Make a coalition and ronin versions =)(maybe whitebot)

1) He tried that, but couldn't get the rocket-fist to work properly AS WELL as having it there holding the guns.
2) loul
3) No, it's a Dummy unit, it's made of Dummy gibs.

I actually wouldn't mind making a shotgun for him, but it will be a Behemoth-size shotgun. I'm really focusing right now on the Dreadnaught launcher though. Trying to see how I can make it look not so unwieldy.

Yeah, it would be awesome to have them working properly, and I hope you figure something out.

And what's the Dreadnought launcher supposed to do?
Besides obviously launching Dreadnoughts.

It's just going to hurl either dreadnaughts with rockets for feet, or just a dreadnaught "can" full of dummy gibs.

I lost my arm and the only weapon i had was my jet pack :D

Maybe you should make the arm invincible [not fall off] but still take damage if hit.

Or else he's only good for squishying and frying people when he loses his arm.

If the arm doesn't fall off, there's no real point to it taking "damage".
This is how vanilla actors work, they get hit enough on a certain limb, and it gibs.
I will adjust all the limbs to make them stronger, though, so you won't lose limbs so often.

I think he might mean the rocket fist got broken.
