Re: --{[!BUY NOW - *LIFE INSURANCE* - BUY NOW!]}--
Whoa... it's like an Abductor on steroids.... and it's health in that last pic.... its over 9000!
(sorry, couldn't resist)
It does seem interesting, and it looks to have some good potential, but it seems like it could pose some slight problems for anyone in tall or underground bunkers. Especially if this Life Insurance policy is going to create unwanted skylights, sunroofs, extra large ventilation shafts, or otherwise turn entire bunker fortifications into convertibles...
I also see potential abuse and base wrecking for this thing in the Maginot Mission...
I guess I will download it, even if just to toy around with it for a little bit and see what all it can handle and deal with. (and to make poor CC have yet another mod to load on startup...)
Edit:Okay, I have totally trashed the tutorial bunker with this thing, and I have noticed a few issues among the assorted loop holes, clauses, and effects of Insurance breaking its own contract for service.
First, I was going to order something, I selected a different craft since I had purchased Insurance previously, and then I decided to cancel the order since. Mere seconds afterward, Insurance then self destructed and crushed my dummy with its debris. While trying to recreate the problem, I had a second time where it self destructed a short bit (maybe 5-10 seconds) after exiting out of the order menu without ordering.
Second, when I got around to order a second Insurance after the first incident of one self destructing after canceling an order, the game locked up the moment it arrived.
Third, when jumping to high, up and off the screen, Insurance accidentally refunded itself for an absurd amount of money as it tried to stay above the actor... I got something like close to 6 million oz of gold (that's like, 187 tons of gold!)
Fourth, when manually controlling it, it can only move along one axis, either vertically or horizontally, it won't move diagonally. It will sort of rise up if flying sideways through the terrain.
Fifth, when the bay doors are open when manually controlling it, it will pick up more or less anything you can shove in there, not just stuff it can pick up normally, such as weapons and actors... fly down over a bunker door, and it will 'collect' the doors... you know the doors for the 'firing range' in the tutorial bunker? I managed to relocate both pieces, separately, to above the bunker, in mid air...
Overall...
Finally, it doubles as a safe way to horribly ruin the terrain without needing a zero division (or other overpowered lag inducing) bomb/weapon... although, it i pathetic in terms of collecting gold... probably has a 'we, the Insurance provider, keep 99% of gold collected from our policy eating terrain' clause...
