DId you not read what I said? Its not ass backwards. Its just mounted in the case in a non-traditional fashion. The board is ATX spec, you are fine. I wouldn't even suggest getting a new case, if you don't need one. It doesn't matter. It just opens out to the right instead of the left.

I'd seriously like hear a little bit more about how you'd go about fitting that motherboard in to a standard case. I can't do it. I'd also like to see the ATX specs you are reading. Somehow I doubt a mirrored version of a ATX motherboard is up to the specs.

Try to fit his motherboard (right) in to a standard ATX case (left).

Except it isn't. It isn't a standard ATX motherboard. It's basically a mirror image of an ATX board. Just look at that picture I posted.

If you were to put that motherboard in a standard case, the board's inegrated ports would be where the PCI-E- and PCI-cards should be and vice versa.

When you look at a normal motherboard so that the port side is facing left and the motherboard's topside is facing you, the ports on the left are from up to down: integrated ports, 16X PCI-E, 1x PCI-E, PCI, PCI

When you look at that motherboard in the same way, the PCI-ports are up, then 1X PCI-E, 16X PCI-E and the lowest are the integrated ports.

You can't fit that motherboard in a standard ATX-case. It isn't meant for a standard ATX-case. It isn't an ATX motherboard. It's a nonstandard Dell OEM motherboard meant for a nonstandard Dell case.

just trying to make sure nobody goes around buying a new case for a piece of ♥♥♥♥ non-standard motherboard that won't actually work with it because some guys on the internets don't know what they are talking about

And that is why I picked out a new motherboard I can use with some of my old parts and the new ones.

Ok, last thing: what's the difference between a 128 and 256 bit graphics card?

I'm getting all my parts in tomorrow, so what do I do to build it? Just slap it all together or is there more to it than that?

You should not be building a computer if your plan is to just "slap it all together".

You know what I mean.

Do I just put everything in it's correct spot and it's done? Or is there more to it.
