This mission is EPIC. It had... a plot! A cool one, with surprises! And it was a challenge too! It's unbelievable how much richer the game feels with scripting. Hats off to you, man.

now ummm... how do i fix that :-(

You seem to have problem with the Dummy Twins mission before too. I suggest you reinstall CC, since you already had most mods removed.

I had a bug that wasn't loading it for me either.
Fixed it like this:

(This assumes you have a fresh Install of CC at the moment)

1-Download the Stratosphere.rte from the original post.
2-Extract it to Stratosphere.rte (It should look like "Stratosphere.rte/" then have Actors, Devices, Items, Scenes as folders.
3-Move the Stratosphere.rte into your main Cortex Command directory.
4-Create a NEW folder in the Cortex Command directory named "Temp"
5-Move ALL files and folders out of Stratosphere.rte to your new "Temp" folder.
6-DELETE the folder named "Stratosphere.rte" (Should now be empty)
7-CREATE a NEW folder named "Stratosphere.rte" in the Cortex Command directory.
8-MOVE all the folders and files from the folder named "Temp" to the NEW folder named "Stratosphere.rte".
9-Start CC and Stratosphere should show up as a mission dot in the campaign menu on the left side.

Well, on my third try i decided to leave some war music for the coalition to fight with on in the background. It kept my morale up and I finally finished it. Hoorah I said to my only unit that was my brain with 10 hp left.

This mission is so instense.

This is a good mission. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be an MOID cap. Aside from that, it is a lot of fun and I really like the effect with the screens illuminating. I haven't beaten it yet, as I was shot in the head with a rail pistol on the way to the auxiliary panel

Mission script has MOID limits, but there is a small possibility that they won't help. I guess that troops and weapons loaded in drop ships does not count when MOID limit is checked. So script can reach safe limit when it spawned some dropships and then exceed it when troops actually dropped off. The probability is even higher on this map because it is tall and dropships have land for a long time. Currently MOID limit is set to 220. But if you notice that lethal 255 limit is exceeded, you can change this line in script to set it even lower.

Code:
self.MOIDLimit = 220;

Ah, okay. It was only up there for a brief period of time. I hadn't thought about the problem with drop ships, but that would certainly explain it.

Perhaps address the issue of long fly time by having the AI land more near the top of the base? This would give more challenge as the top is usually where you 'retreat' to in this map.

I love this mission but hated the Dummy commander sprites and the lack of new sprites for the Mk2 weapons. I used the dummy body I added to the sprite dump and made a new head, some recolors of sprites from the sprite dump and some I made, and I made the chips all match up. I Sent these in a PM to weegee but haven't got a response so I will post thease here and hope there added in at some point.

also tell me what you think about them.

I played this map on my better computer finally. Insanely hard to not die. :D It was fun, though. Good work.
