Re: Drop Cannon
Sprites still are cartoonish, but at least they don't make me want to pull my eyes from their socketws.

Re: Drop Cannon
This time, I can actually see shading.
But we don't really need cannons. We have bombs that DS's use only.

*dependency ahem* sorry, i used my (never relased) mega digger mod as a base, re-uploading! also, a retracting door cannon would be better than an attachable, right? fixed

Re: Drop Cannon
It retracts? All I saw was a hull image that had both the ship and the cannon.

Re: Drop Cannon
this is kinda fun to use with the fire bombs, however the regular non-explody ones are kinda lame since its really hard to aim with it. also, make the non-exploding shells settle or gib or something so the ground isnt littered with shells you can pick up.

Re: Drop Cannon
Looks better, noticeable shading. Add some detail to your piece like part lines and rivet spots then shade it again.

Re: Drop Cannon
Well, you're getting there.
And you get points for persistence, no one can say you're not trying.

Re: Drop Cannon
Yeah, the non explosive shells are kind of weak, ill make them bigger (or make the cannon fire faster) also, ill make them settle, all ad some more to the sprite, and now the cannon rotates to the bottom and starts shooting, which is fun to watch, all also make more shells (ligting shells & fully explosive c4 rounds = fun)

Re: Drop Cannon
Tip on shading: use some dithering!
Don't know what dithering is? Look it up, you'll find out.
