Re: Weekend Mod Fest 1 | Voting
It's funny how grif's the 16 minute mod is tied with the other hours of modding mods Yes i made one of these. Nah it really didn't take dozens of hours, just maybe one or two. It's kinda obvious who made what in this contest, but i guess there's no point to say. Review: Good job.

Ah, I see. I didn't realize the other team needed to be digging.

Re: Weekend Mod Fest 1 | Voting
Not bad, my vote will go to Pacificorp.rte. While the only thing in the pack that was not harmful was the pudding gun, I really enjoyed it anyways. Transforming dropships and rockets into crabs was pretty epic. God bless their cargo though. ._. (Mutating other people is rather nasty imo, so I would call that a bio weapon. : X) Pacifism.rte gave a good laugh when instead of doing something like disarming/paralysing/heaing/good ect, it instead killed you. And everything else aswell. Quite an anticlimax. Plasmatrapper had a cool effect and worked, but instead of plasma it captured the target in a bunker module kinda made it wierd. But it works and it was pacifistic indeed. Not bad. Hax chips have some excellent multiplayer gameplay value and do their work nicely and are balanced.

I voted grif because I liked his mod best
Just because you are losing, don't accuse everyone else of cheating

Re: Weekend Mod Fest 1 | Voting
i love how its all "secrecy, dont reveal mods creators and stuff or at least be subtle" and then everyone is all like "hay grif nice mod" i voted for him too. im so pissed that my weekend didnt involve making a mod for this. but ah well, zombies is so near beta im almost to the point of posting it and starting to draw more concepts for roon.

Re: Weekend Mod Fest 1 | Voting
While pacifism was a funny mod it was kind of useless.
Zombie gun and friends had good sprites, but the half assed pudding gun ruined it for me.
Plasma trapper didn't work right, and had some weird effects, so that didn't get my vote.
The door hacker and gold thing were really fun, and I enjoyed them, and they worked as advertised. They just felt like something was missing.
Overall the Pacifism got my vote because it encouraged pacifism.

Actually nobody is fervently defending or bashing any of them, I think the losing ones have barely been mentioned so unless you've detected some sort of subtle message designed to head straight to my subconcious and affect my vote, they are hardly being defended. Read the topic before trying to summarise it.

Well actually I feel kinda bad because Mail obviously put a hell of a lot more work into his mod than mine.
It was honestly a bit of a joke; I mean, the sixteen minutes included the time it took to make up the idea. That's not a hell of a lot of time.

Pfft, Grif, your mod sucked. Mail's was obviously much better and had much more time and effort put forth. It's not a popularity contest.

Re: Weekend Mod Fest 1 | Voting
Pacifism was a pretty good joke, especially when I used it the first time. I was standing infront of a disarmed dummy that was begging for mercy and I just aimed the pacifist gun at it and pulled the trigger while grinning devilishly.
Then my guy exploded. After a short delay, the dummy did too.
Wtf moment ftw. xD
The best suited mod for a multiplayer was defenately the hax chips. The most experimental and hilarious were the giant bioweapons and the pudding gun. I had the most fun with these. <3 The most practical in normal combat was the plasma trapper. I just wish it had some cooler visuals such as plasma bubble instead of a bunker module.
