Really nice sprites you've got there.
Although I think that a dummy giant with frankenstein sprites had already been done by some modder... Who was it really? Ah yes, me.

No matter, your robot's appearance is much better than mine's. The legs were specially well done. Though it seems to be, as others have already said, in a slighty weird position, almost as if it was dancing. The dummy simbol on the head also seems... a bit off, maybe?
This looks very good overall, though, and I'm eagerly expecting the release.

Instead of having weapons, this dude might work well like that "dog" robot in half life 2.
A big muscular robot with lots of strenght and brute force, it would leap from roof to roof and then pick up and toss tanks like hulk and smash stuff with his fists of fury.

Btw you're making quite a number of WIPs but they all seem to remain as pretty sprites.
Can you code or is that the very reason they arent getting further?

I agree with numgun, it should only use a close combat weapon(maybe a large MO with a really short lifespan, for actual epic physics damage).

A close-quaters brute fighting style would be totally ownage for this.
Make it have a powerful jump and also have jet pack also weakish thrusts that you could glide smoothly after doing a nice big jump.

Then make it have a more plainer psy power (only will affect items, actor and craft.) integrated already into the actor that has its range already fixed to close point infront of it and have 2 functions for releasing:
1. Throw object with great force
2. Keep the object in hands and apply force to it with a certain LUA function which will most likely
make it explode, making it look like robot tore it apart or simply crushed it.

Say, if you will send me ready sprites that are already cropped and in pallete, I will do the above normal and even the LUA code for above stuff.

That's a good idea. When you punch something, it could be all like PEW PEW and shoot laser energy into the face of whatever was punched, or it could leak energy into whatever it was holding and MAKE IT FRY. MWAHAAHAHAHAHA. *ahem* Or it could shoot lasers from its eyes.

Yikes. Not sure what went on in here, but this probably wasn't a good thing to post right before I went to bed, and then leave it for when I came home from work, ha! I probably missed a lot of fun stuff.

Anyhow. Yes, I just fudged a quick mockup. As with all my mockups they look little to nothing like they do in game, perspectives will be corrected, obviously the arms and whatnot will be properly rotated, and the background arm won't be a copy of the foreground one. I'll actually have to show a completely original sprite of the left hand from the palm side (vanilla actors hands have the advantage of being so small, they can just use a darker foreground hand and you can't really tell).

I already drew some concepts of weapons at work today.

First idea was a huge shoulder mounted launcher (Not overly huge), that fired Dreadnaught rockets. Yes, top halves of Dreadnaughts with rocket bottoms, so a rocket that shoots bullets along the way. Not sure if I could get it to work, but I don't see why not.

Second idea, specifically the default weapon would be stereotypical fist rocket launchers. I imagine I could make placeholder hands and add an attachable where the hand would be (too overcome the apparent problem of not being able to hide hands). Then when the "fist rocket" is shot, it'll spawn the fist rocket and hide the attachable which is over the dummy hand. If anyone has a reason that won't work, let me know. These are just ideas.

Honestly I came up with this just looking at some of the dropship and rocket sprites and thinking, hey, these look like actor parts! I currently plan to use it as a boss unit in a mission I have in conceptual stages, so probably quite down the road.

I am quite excited and hope to see this happen, LFOW. That's one heck of an inspiration there, and I like both yours and numgun's ideas. Two takes on the unit, but both make a lot of sense. Numgun's ideas would be more becoming of a field unit, and yours is very good for a nice boss fight. I'm curious to see what happens. :D
