Re: Outcasts Faction
Hmm... yeah that's actually pretty bad advice out of context... anyway, the other advice it goes with is this: Nobody but you can see the effort in it; when you judge it ignore the fact that you made it and just look and see if it looks alright. If it looks 'wrong' then it probably is.

Anyway, sprites are alright actually, need some shading, but they're good enough other than that. One question though, why would the Demolition man use "magnesium bullets"?

Re: Outcasts Faction
Magnesium and like two or three other minerals/chemicles are used to make this extremely hot material, can't remember what it's called, but yes magnesium by it's self would be a very infective material to make bullets out of.

Magnesisum is very hot burrining (it creates its own oxgyin), and it lights on impact, so the idea is armour peircing/explosive bullets. magnisum is used as; a gunpoweder indredient flares thermite

Re: Outcasts Faction
No, it needs to be combined with other chemicals to burn. I've watched enough science experiments to know this.

So it's like a mini-flare-machinegun. Awesome.

Magnesium oxide is the residue I believe. yes, and it needs no reactions, my school science teacher fooled around with it durring the begening of the year to show us it. all you need is a lighter or a hammer, and when he litt it, i burned white with sparks, which is how magnisum burns due to the heat, and magnesium oxide is the residue, which is a dust, which the mix with aluminum dust to make thermite, which burns even hotter. so yeah, like a flare machenegun

Re: Outcasts Faction
My point is it wouldn't explode. It would still make a good weapon though.

Re: Outcasts Faction
The actor looks half okay, but the weapon looks horrible. I'd try to come up with better weapon designs.

Re: Outcasts Faction
What I want you to do, Lafe, is go and sketch what you want it to look like. Reference pictures of similar weapons, or weapons you like the look of. Be sure to take note of functional parts. Because that is an atrocity

Re: Outcasts Faction
Didn't you say contrary was going to do the sprites? He really needs to because he is a much better spriter than you. In fact he's one of the better spriters here.
