I think he means two keyboards with the same controls.
Not possible with allegro from what I know.

Not possible with allegro from what I know. I'll start making custom Cortex Command Player 2 keyboards, that have the physical location of the keys switched to be in line with a "normal" keyboard layout.

Like this time I played this game, and the 1 keyboard we had was too small, so we got extras. Well, that didn't work so well as we could press the other players' assigned keys and control them.

Re: Cortex Command - Two Computers, 1 Game
Can't that be worked around by having player 2's keys assigned to different keys? You'd still be using one keyboard for two players-ish, but at least it would give some room between player one and two.

What's GH3? Guitar Hero 3 Well Guitar Hero isn't quite Cortex Command, so the same principles don't really carry over.

Re: Cortex Command - Two Computers, 1 Game
. WHY the heck do you need lan. that just adds to [my ] lagginess. just set up a second screen that mimics the first, get another keyboard/controller and use black construction paper to cover the opponents half of cortex command and there you go,. lan is only good if you live beside each other but is too lazy to walk to another persons house

Duh102 wrote: Franchan wrote: use black construction paper to cover the opponents half This man is a GENIUS! Well it depends on what kind of keyboard. Is it a touch sensitive keyboard? - Works fine Or a regular keyboard? - Can still press the keys even if there's paper over it. But you can't see the keys.
