How about a compromise? I get to keep the white middle, and you guys lose the sharp point.

Seriously, I just realised how stupid I was when I critisized it in the first place, as the original white-cored sharp one is the best one after all

Here's the Engineer's helmet... it's not exactly canon, but it looks appropriately shield-y considering the how hot the barrel gets.

Well, in keeping with the fact that the Lascutter is an industrial welder, I thought it would be appropriate to give him a welding mask, but if you have another idea...

Make it less dark, and perhaps try to make it fit more with the rest of the sprite

Ork, it's a welding mask, what is there to understand about it?
I guess I could make it green-ish, with only a black slit for visibility, instead of having the whole thing as a semi-transparent viewplate...
[edit] I also think that I should redesign the Lascutter's sprite.

That depends. Will the bayonets be just for looks? If so then no or you could just make the bayonet las-weapons separate if you must have them.

The Kentrael pattern lasgun shouldn't have a bayonet imo, because I sure as hell have never seen one with a bayonet attached

EDIT: Same with the Hellgun
