   |   Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 6/11/09hmm, how many other actors in the scene? It might be a MOID count issue.

   |   Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 6/11/09Well think of it this way. The max MOID is 255. Each actor is about 5 to 10 but generally about 7-8. And then you add rockets.I personally only use death on small maps where I can keep the population down due to the probability of hitting someone else with missed shots in a smaller area.

   |   Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 6/11/09I don't think its MOID count related. There have a been a couple of times where I have had swarms of enemies ie about 10 enemy actors plus drop ships plus my actors and no one gibbs to death spontaneously. But I have also had just one actor, the brain and one drop ship on the map no enemies and the actor would explode for no reason. Every time its been with a dark storm actor. Ive not had any other units randomly explode for no reason just the dark storm ones.

   |   Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 6/11/09Loving how the brain is actually indestructable.
Ok, it's probably not yet they don't attempt to shoot the brain, it's like the barricade kind of shielding that comes with the brain removes it out of there view sight, so they look up at the brain as if there about to shoot it but they don't, they also jetpack up at it as well ect but do nothing.

I'm not sure if they could dig ontop of the brain and destroy it with a digger but like I said, the brain isn't being targeted.

 Yup, one rigged brain.

   |   Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 6/11/09OK last night I did some testing of the exploding actor bit. I had a shogun tengu armed with the grenade launcher and he did not explode at all the whole session I was playing for a good 30 mins before a drop ship engine took him out.
However I have noticed that when I equip him with either the RPG launcher or the AMSR its usually a matter of about 5 minutes or so sometimes more or sometimes less that he explodes for no reason. This also happens to other actors I equipped it on a heavy clone soldier and gibbed 2 minutes in no enemies on site.

 That's awesome!

Almost as awesome as this awesome mod.
Does the cloak make them invisible, or just make AI ignore them?

   |   Re: DarkStorm Military Technologies - Updated 6/11/09It makes them invincible.
Invisibility and vulnerability can be established by using scale on actors, and then using bounding box checks on particles that disarm the cloak.

Isn't that a bit ridiculous? Or is there just no way to make them 'cloaked' yet?
