My favorites are the harmoniser and revenge shields, but I can't find them on the list :V DEF TEC = harmoniser and revenge. EDIT: Next time each mod should have a module name as mandatory and the voting topic with the mod entries could be good to put in mod releases. Its technically a release so I'd see it would work better there.

It's the glowy one.
I like the visuals, but I find the code effect lacking, it's just a bubble shield, albeit a nice looking one.

Here's mah review: ( I won't comment on them all, or it would take me ages to write it all down.) Gravity Force Shields: Pretty neat, but not too effective. Most bullets flew right through. Bubble Shield Generator and Drone : Nice, but bubble shields are not my favorite kind of defense. Hornet Nest : Fun to use, and pretty effective. A nice idea with a good execution. Matter Converter Shield : Effective, but sometimes actors would simply ignore me if I had the shield on. Shielding & Shielding: Neat pack, could use better sprites, though. The UFO was cool, but difficult to use. Walking Cover : Good idea, very poor execution. It's just a dreadnought with no gun. No offense, but whoever did this should be ashamed of himself. Force Shield and Co. : Too simple for my liking. Lacked spriting, and didn't seem like it had much effort put into it. DEFTEC : A device called Harmonizer that heals the user? I fear you've been playing too much Lost Planet, SSSSHHHHH even though it's obvious . Nicely done, though. The vengeance device was absolutely hilarious. And I guess that's it. Nice contest, all in all.

Zalo, when the voting is over, can you reveal the makers of each entry? Its somewhat part of the fun to see who did what and on top of that I cant really tell which was made by who.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2 | The Voting has Begun! Come Vote here!
My reviews: Absorber Shield and Co. Nice coding, and the shields are fairly interesting and original, but needs some sprites. I did not like how the body guard chip was stashed away into bombs, only noticed it when I was buying a bomb to test one of the other shields. Transfer shield appears to be some kind of advance revenge shield, from what I can tell.
Absorbtion Shield: Okay, but didn't really do anything special.
Bubble Shield: Just another bubble shield.
Bubble Shield Generator and Drone: Nicely done bubble shield, but just another bubble shield.
DEFTEC : Nice job! The harmonizer was fairly unoriginal, but the revenge field was well done.
D-Fence: Okay shield, but nothing special.
Force Shield and Co.: Nice visuals, but it seems like a bubble shield, except with nice effects and interesting particle effects. The shields could also have some ability to let non leathal particles though.
Shield Drum and Co. : Could not find
Gravity Force Shields : Well sprited, and the effect is nice, but it seems like just another bubble shield.
Hornet Nest : Good job with a revenge shield.
Matter Converter Shield: Too weak, but nice idea.
The Reactive Protection (and Aggression) Unit : Also a nice revenge shield.
Shielding & Shielding : Nice collection of shields. Didn't really find anything revolutionary, though.
Walking Cover : Is this just a dreadnought without a gun?

Yeah, I'm sorry mail. The Shield Drum is in FS.rte along with the Force Shield and the Awesome Sauce.
Numgun, good idea. Whoever wins this one will have to add that to the rules. I did my best.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2 | The Voting has Begun! Come Vote here!
I apologize for the crappiness of the Walking Cover. I only kept it looking like a Dreadnought because if I had tried to custom sprite it, it would look horrible, seriously. It would've been an eyesore on top off all of it's other faults if I had messed with it.
Also, it isn't just a Dreadnought without a gun, it can take over 5 clips of Nailer Cannon to the armor and still stand. I had meant for the tiny part at the bottom to be a sort of 'weakspot' for the 'giant enemy crab', but apparently that didn't work out all that well. Sorry for how horrible it is.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2 | The Voting has Begun! Come Vote here!
I'm going to go down the list, and give 4 grades: Spriting: 0-5 Functionality: 0-5 Originality: 0-5 Overall: 0-15
Absorber Shield and Co. Spriting: 1 - Minimal effort on the sprites made it seem like an afterthought. Functionality: 5 - Functioned completely as advertised. Good coding. Originality: 4 - The ideas present were only found in a couple other shields. I liked to use them. Overall: 10/15 - I didn't even know about the chip like mail said, also all failed vs diggers.
Absorbtion Shield: Spriting: 2 - Sprite was at least original, but the heavy outline and off shading made it an eyesore. Functionality: 5- Functioned completely as advertised, albeit a little over powered vs bullets. Originality: 4 - The leech effect was nice, and the sprite was original. Overall: 11/15 - Overall was a good shield, though huge and crude, did its job on everything save diggers.
Bubble Shield: Spriting: 2 - Sprite was tiny and just a little ball. The shield part was a stinging erratic yellow. Didn't like. Functionality: 3 - This thing got me killed more than saved, though after I died it managed to work a bit. Originality: 2 - Another bubble shield, though you used your own sprite. Overall: 7/15 - Overall low scores in each field.
Bubble Shield Generator and Drone: Spriting: 4 - I give a 4 because all spriting was original, and the particle effects for activation and death were visually nice. Functionality: 4 - This shield worked better than most others. Had some wierd bugs where the shield bubble floated off in a random direction though. Originality: 3 - You gave two versions, which is a plus. Spriting was more original than the function, but it was nicely done. Overall: 12/15 - A very easy to use shield.
DEFTEC : Spriting: 5 - Had the best sprites of the lot in my opinion. Perfect replica of the Halo bubble shield. The actual bubble sprite was executed flawlessly. Functionality: 5 - I did not die whilst the bubble shield held. It activated as advertised, everything worked. The revenge shield was particularly enjoyable, watching dummies in dummy assault all stand around and the dropships lull in the sky was awesome to watch. Originality: 3 - I take off 2 points for the unoriginality of the obvious copy of the Halo shield, though gave you 3 for the revenge one. It was awesome. Overall: 13/15 - I enjoyed these two a ton. Also considering the author's intent to replicate the bubble shield in Halo, he/she did a perfect job of doing so. This got my vote for having the highest total (but not by much!)
D-Fence: Spriting: 1 - It looked like a bunch of shoes stuck together. I didn't like it. Functionality: 2 - It worked as advertised, but lacked any special features. Originality: 2 - Just another shield. Overall: 5/15 - Just didn't have that "UMPH!"
Force Shield and Co.: Spriting: 3 - The particle effects were nice and glowy. Looked good, but the actual device was awful. A better device sprite would've scored higher marks. Functionality: 5 - The only flaw I found in these shields was that they died fast to diggers, and had longggg reload times. Other than that, the reflector killed my enemies reliably, and made Dreads lose their gun very quickly. Originality: 4 - The 4 variations were unique and fun to use. Overall: 12/15 - Add device sprites. A plus was the shields could be used in tandem, though the reload times killed you afterward.
Shield Drum and Co. : I could not locate these shields either.
Gravity Force Shields : Spriting: 4 - The sprites were good all around, especially the bubble, but the shield itself was an eyesore and took up almost an entire actor. I thought the menu icons were just icons, not actual shield graphics. They don't look like shields. Functionality: 3 - I got myself killed by these more times than with any other entry. Originality: 3 - Sprites were original, but functions were so so. Overall: 10/15 - Too many variants that should've been integrated as a manual pointing shield.
Hornet Nest : Spriting: 2 - Sprite was original, although ugly. It at least had the colors right. Functionality: 4 - Functioned as advertised. Originality: 4 - Idea was very original. Bee shields! Overall: 10/15 - Sprites needed major work. I also couldn't get rid of the shield, and it showed up with anything I wielded.
Matter Converter Shield: Spriting: 3 - The device was an ok sprite, but the emission was awful plain. The particle effects when it got hit or destroyed were nice though. Functionality: 4 - This shield took everything. The only shield I used that saved me from digger fire! Excellent function-wise, but the clip operation and low uptime made it major suck when it ran out. Originality: 4 - The idea behind the shield was solid. Overall: 11/15 - Overall the concept was uniform and the shield was put together well, but could've been the winner for me if it was executed properly and had slightly better effects.
Walking Cover : Spriting: 0 - I won't go into details. Functionality: 3 - It did what it was supposed too I guess. Originality: 0 - It's just...not there. Overall: 3/15 - I'd rather have a dropship as my walking cover.
EDIT: I just noticed Numgun's entry was the only one to include his name in his entry. Har har.

I think I forgot to remove a comment with my name in one of the lua files, now that you point out numgun's mistake.
Anyway...
All the lua based shields fail at diggers and mele due to the fact that apparently lua is run every tick or something. Most digger particles last less than a tick.

longggg reload times. The description sez: Single-use item. This mod had a flaw that you could only have them pre-equipped on an ordered actor. If you tried to pass it to someone else who needs it, the device instantly breaks.

I just had my entry fire deadly particles to destroy the gun.

I like the seeker shield. Which group has the seeker shield?
And I like the BBShield Generator/drone. But don't make the bullets go bounce off so fast and make it IgnoreFire = 0
