So the antennas must go. About the helmet covering the eyes... look at the lasgun demonstration to see what would happen if I'd move the helmet a single pixel up. But, if he looks better like that, I'll adjust accordingly. Can't do that with the Plasma Trooper's helmet, though, because, well... But I will delete the antennas.

Ye a frame up might do it, although the lasgun demonstration actor seems to have no eyes :???: or is it just that he has a visor that is to skin colorish? If such is the case, remove the visor, that ain't imperial guardish either as far as i know.
Also, it would be cool if you made Kasrkins (they are sooooo cool!) and the good ol' stormtroopers! Just don't make these without masks, coz that's one of the main reasons to why I like them so much.
Also, regular guardsmen have been seen using the same masks as the kasrkins (haven't seen it in the tabletop, but some of the guardsmen models in DoW have masks), so could you make this too?
Masks for the regular guardsmen should be easy, just make it as an attachable (would be nice if it could take a few rounds before being destroyed too).

I was actually planning on making the normal guardsman masks attachables, and the same for the Kasrkins, but theirs wouldn't be destructible; the melta troopers have visors.
But that effect is because Ivan made the head like that, it's the forehead. Knock the helmet off of one of his Space Marines, and you'll see the same thing.
But I doubt I'll make stormtroopers, because of two things:
A. Sounds. Where am I going to find stormtrooper sounds?
B. I don't like their helmets, or their attitude. They look too Big Daddy-ish, and they're supposed to be soldiers for the Inquisition, anyways.
Also, the Kasrkin are the Cadian version of the Stormtroopers. Just without the mental conditioning and the diving-suit armor.

I think that someone whould make a brainbot that is the emporer and a shield that he can use thats a Imperial guard since their basicly a human bullet proof vests for the people behind them.

You sir have just made a mistake!
Stormtroopers don't HAVE to be part of the Inqusition, they are also a part of the Imperial Guard, or rather, they are originally part of the guard, but are trained by the "Schola Progenium" to perform covert operations and spearhead assaults. Also, you could just use the kasrkin voices and sounds (they are basically the same, since the kasrkins seem to be just a replacement/improvement of the old stormtroopers)

Just check their store page on games workshop's site:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... rod1070103

I don't see anything here that commands them to be part of the Inqusition, do you? Also, what do you mean with "Big Daddy-ish"? To me they are just as cocky and fearless as the kasrkins (just listen to the stuff they say in DoW), only they have different equipment than them.

It's the stormtrooper helmet... it's just... like a freaking bubble covering the head.
Also, I fail to see the point of making both stormtroopers and kasrkins.
if you would have read what I wrote, you would have noticed that I mantioned that the kasrkins and stormtroopers are the same

One thing: from what i saw in the rocket launcher gif, your glow strength is above one. Honestly, id avoid that and stick with an actual glow instead of a glow with random hue everywhere. If you need a glow, feel free to pm me.

Heh, you're probably right, just me running crazy with all the ideas in my head, but yeah you're right about me not reading the whole post, just read it until I saw that you claimed them to be part of the inquistion and nobody else, and the little correction nazi within me couldn't help but write that you were wrong.

True, but why make a mod out of that? pointless.... Also, ain't that a bit off-topic?

Having the Emperor as a brainbot... let's just say that the last thing you'd need in that case would be a shield (also, he'd be the last person to ever use a human shield). But it isn't going to happen. His armor is too detailed and... well... gay. I doubt anyone would want a golden hippie running around the map, pwning everything in his way. Also, I doubt anyone would have the patience to sprite him. Hell, I'd rather make Chaos Marines, with all their spikes than teh emprah. Or maybe he meant Palpatine... and he's coming.

Mostly the guards men gibs could be just re-sprites (or even not resprites) of coalition gibs.
Also i hope that you'll fix that guns eating ground bug.

Can't wait to get hands on final release.

About that... you'll have to wait until the Blacklight Virus lets me go... I've played that fragging game for 4 days and still can't get enough of it. But I'll try to finish at least the Plasma Gun tonight. No sense in letting Mind's beautiful glows rot away.

Ah yes, that virus is indeed fun to screw around with  But when you reach the end of the whole thing, the big one won't just die under the time limit....

cryptic off-topic aside, have you thought about making any IG tanks too? They are after all what makes the IG powerful, as their infantry is basically just cannon fodder. I am aware of the fact that it might be a bit difficult, but it sure as hell would be nice to have a leman russ or even... A BANEBLADE!!! :D

Opinions, people, I need opinions!
Ok, I know this needs shading and general touching up, but I would like to know whether anything else is wrong with it. Parts with a red cross will be attachables which can be shot off in order for the driver to be killed, the large square with a C in the middle will be where the clips go, and the blue parts indicate future joints.

Nice work, although it looks a bit... dunno if it's the right word, but the wordbook page I'm using gave me this: angular? What I mean is that it's looks a bit roughly drawn, and as you said, it needs shading

That looks pretty good, generally. I can't wait to see if you shade it right.
