well I was going to make a shield for every faction.... to be origional...
but the Dummies have there shield deployer, the coalition have armor, the ronin would just use the regular shield, the browncoats don't have anything, and the zombies are zombies they don't need shields, they ARE shields.
So i'm just submitting what I've got and calling it quits on this one. yes its a shield but its... its not much... i'm happy with it though...

I am kind of sad that these contests aren't getting more attention.

Sure I have tons of thought for protective devices, but none of them are good enough or feasible. : /

Technically only 3 of the shields in my mod are shields that are held.

Depends on your computer and the map size.
I've added optimizing checks, such as ignoring non sharp particles, so my shield does not deflect things that can't hurt you, like dug up terrain, oil, blood, ect.
I'm also using my method of actor effect to speed things up, vs firing MO pixels with Lua.

Looks like the revolver cannon or any kinetic type projectile will be able to penetrate that shield.
Hmm.. maybe if we devs added sharpness to all rounds that are ment to hurt... Mainly missile MOSR and TDE and AEmitter where the sharpness value doesnt really do anything, but still doesnt give any errors about it.
