Geti wrote: i'd prefer it to be a "boss type" enemy/superweapon, I have that planned too, I want to keep it as a secret for now. It going to be a different thing though. This baby (ypsilon) is like your "console of doom" which you can use to totally nuke from orbit and make a really nasty mess of the enemy base on any map. I'll be going with the crosshair method because you'd be able to use it on any map at any time and high precision. And thats how it should work. The guys on the spaceship have advanced targeting systems and scopes to zoom to the planets surface like a spy satellite. I'm gonna try to make the effects as complex and interesting as possible on this one. For one, the large beam wont just appear suddenly, but it will begin with the target area igniting in fire that keeps getting more intense while the air between the target area and the sky will be ionized at a steady rate and finally the main blast will fire with a very bright flash. Maybe some sort of semi-harmless pre-beam will appear before the main beam. Anyways, the main point is that I'll make it ♥♥♥♥ impressive. xD EDIT: Btw guys, you seem to be naming the spaceship like its a weapon. Imagine the most badass spaceship you can imagine and then give it a name and then tell me it.

I'm starting to wonder if you are going to make an aerial arsenal line. If you do, use grif's side-view plane base, and your top-view plane base, for you may be able to squeeze it dead over a long time. Don't worry if you use more than three power gauges, the shields, and the other armaments need coold down times/limiters.
And btw, the planes act like the cavalry in this game.
Name time, ( this is is kind of derived from the Lance of Longius ( Or whatever that diety's spear was called ) ) , the Harbringer's Halberd.

(Though I'm a big fan of Lambda and Sigma. Alpha n' Omega also sounds nice.) I'm kinda with you on that. Greek letter names are a fallback if nothing else. I want to think there's something more fun to use than that.
