However, I think it has served it's purpose. Numgun's (hopefully) read what the community wants and (hopefully) will actually implement some of it. All I really wanted out of this thread was to see if anyone would agree.

I'm sorry I've had this game since b14 but haven't had a reason to make an account untill now.

What makes you and a few other people "the comunnity"? You've got a single thread with a few people complaining and I doubt Cortex Command has only been bought by you. I for one love the new content Numgun has added. Data brought Numgun on, not you. It's his game and if he didn't like the direction Numgun was taking the game then Numgun wouldn't be working on it anymore. And don't give me that "I bought the game, I should have a say in what goes in!" crap. You bought an early version of a game on the promise that you won't have to pay the full price later on, not on the promise you get to decide for the community what goes into the game.

"Please note that Cortex Command is currently a work in progress and NOT a finished product! The campaign mode and missions are not yet present in the version available right now. However, you may buy a discounted license today, which will unlock the features of all future versions up to and including the final with the full campaign in it!"

Where the hell does it say you get to hassle one of the developer if you don't like his style? All you people have done here is insulted an artist's work and acted like you knew more about the direction this game was suppose to go than Data.

Also, if you aren't playing the game at the normal timescale then you can't goddam complain because time is different for you. If you're complaining the guns are overpowered because dummy's are now an actully a threat then get out of the damn way, if they weren't a threat then they wouldn't be enemies for christ sake.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've just gotten my wisdom teeth out and need my meds before the numbness wears off.

Are you stupid or something?

The people in this thread are a microcosm of the community, there's something called sampling, where you ask what a few people think, and use that data and those ratios to assume what the opinion of the majority is. This thread gave me an idea of what the community wants (within about a 16% margin), and gave me a place to get out what I think would be nice implemented in the game. I didn't harass numgun, say I didn't like his style, or act as if I decide what goes into the game, I merely gave my opinion, and I have a right to give that opinion. I understand Cortex Command is unfinished, and that is precisely why I decided to say what I would like to see in the game, it is not in any way an unreasonable suggestion. I never insulted numgun or Data, nor acted as if I thought I knew where the game should go. You are far too presumptuous. I also never complained guns were too powerful or that dummies were a threat, in fact I would like shorter reloads because it would make them more of a threat; as it stands now, dummies rarely get to fire more than 1 or 2 clips.

Please, don't try to put words in my mouth or get yourself all riled up over something I never did.

Furthermore, I do enjoy the game a lot as is, long reloads and all, but I would like to see the game get even better.

Yes, but up untill now everyone has had the common decency not to point it out!

No, if you don't listen to what the community wants then you are a crap developer.

Or numgun could stop ruining the guns.

But I am sorry, I took what you said for an insult when I guess you didn't mean it as such. I'll stay out of this topic for the rest of it's existence starting now

Nice comeback.

This will be an entertaining argument, unless of course this thread is locked.

Just another soap.

This is lame.

Want lower reload times? Do it yourself.

Case closed.
