Just had a good idea. Why not add the ejector seat from the Tiger helicopter someone made. That would make for some cool crashes. Just change a sprite or two, make the guy actually be on YOUR team, and give credit. Would make the mod a bit more jawsome.

They actually have that in Apaches I do believe, someway some how it doesn't kill the pilot. But I know what you mean. EDIT: After google checking it appears the one and only heli with an ejector seat is the HIND (AKA ALIGATOR) Russia copter. Apparentaly it also causes the rotors to pop off and fly away leaving the person save to eject.

Change in order to have more controlable bombs. Code: if self:GetController():IsState(Controller.AIM_SHARP) then Code: if self:GetController():IsState(Controller.SCROLL_DOWN) then Changes the bomb to scrolling the mouse, downward. Edit: This is more for people who don't like the bomb system, not for the creator.

You need an animation for doing a barrel roll, (turning around) you could have 4 frames of turning, then when the belly is facing the screen, you flip it and have a fifth frame that is the same, but flipped, so you can have a nice flipping animation, with it shaded and everything.

it'd technically be an aileron roll, not a barrel roll, but yeah it would be groovy.
Thankyou, Grif, for actually sticking with a mod for more than 5 minutes and bringing it above your usual half-assed proof-of-concept level.

as a side note, bullets raep terrain, hard. would it be that hard to use the down button rather than the sharpaim for bombing? i mean, i've already changed it, but still. barrel rolling would be cool as well as aileron rolling, but srsly, coding that is so unnecessary. this would be cooler if instead of deepgrouping the motherbitch out of the terrain it got its propulsion disabled and rolled with some attached fire emitters on it when it hit the ground or received a decent impulse. all that could be done with a bit of raycasting and a lower gibimpulselimit, though making it would be a little fiddly.
also, grif has been doing zalo style mods recently too. a small bug, this adds stuff to the gibs group. be nicer if you commented the addtogroup lines out before posting it..

I would've thought that taking sprites from the Metal Slug series was illegal. Maybe not, but considering that Cortex Command and it's fans are so small time, it doesn't really matter.
But finally, a craft that can shoot and stuff.
