I'd appreciate it if you did an AddToGroup into the shields category so people could find all the mods easily.

Wait so if this could be something so open to interpretation, so much so that you can enter a rocket that shoots people, and you'd only appreciate if we added it to the shields group, how is the theme shields at all? How is there a theme in the first place?

The theme is just a suggestion what to do; it's a category in the voting. If a mod does not fit the theme, then it won't get anything as far as "theme" points goes, which, if everyone actually did a decent method of judging, would result in the score being lower.
Naturally everyone just votes for the mod with a description in zalo's formatting, but, hey, that's cool.

Its the idea of protection, i guess. Follow the definition of shield, and freely interperet. Has to be reasonable though.

So if you don't follow the theme, people most likely won't vote for you? Okay, that seems pretty watertight.

Well, that, and if you try to pass off a rocket that shoots bullets as a shield, I'll ban you Jk

Next time, the theme can be more restricted. Sometimes constrains do push your creativity to the limits, and they serve as good perimeters to compare between mods.
But I'm so looking forward to the new 'shields'.

Are shields that self destruct and add a invisible lua based fied to the user okay?
Also, can I use my global module code?
Makes things easy for me to code.
Vs writing a new persistent actor effect system from scratch.

I guess I've just become too lazy to make mods any more. Maybe if you're lucky I'll download at least one of the entries and vote, but I wouldn't count on it.
Although more shields would always be a good thing, we have a lack of original and useful shields. Good choice of theme.

I mean i know there aren't any shields really in the shields tab, the topic itself is quite boring, and all the mods really do the same thing, which makes all the mods very slight variations of each other.

I'm pretty sure someone already posted this, but as you can't put everything in the buyable shields tab you could at least put AddToGroup = Contest into every mod so that they can be easily tested.
