   |   Re: Making .gifs for DummiesIt's in the cortex command folder, wherever the hell you put it. So long as you're actually pressing printscreen.

So long as you're actually pressing printscreen.I am pressing it and holding it and smashing it and it does that laggy FPS drop like other people have. I don't move my stuff, I installed what I got from Data Realms and i've installed quite a few times and nothings ever showed up, or maybe CC just isn't very compatible across other systems.

   |   Re: Making .gifs for DummiesFound out what my problem was.
For all vista users do not have Cortex Command installed in any Program files or screenshots wont be taken. It can't bypass permissions needed ect and won't add them to your folder.

I moved my CC from Program files (x84) to my other Program files, yet I needed it completely out of any program files to get it to take screenshots.

   |   Re: Making .gifs for DummiesI used this to make gifs for my Tradestar Conscripted mod Good gifs? -Edit (this is not meant as advertising, I'm seriously asking if these gifs are any good) Also, If I can figure it out, I think anyone on these forums should be able to. ALSO Why does it look weird when I open it in any picture viewer?

   |   Re: Making .gifs for Dummiesis it just me or does VirtualDub lag uncontrollably.
If im not in the section to select crop, my CPU jumps from 50% usage to 0% (where everything freezes on standard pc freezing)

I can click on task manager to unfreeze it but this means I can't export.
