Post The Mysterious Ypsilon Cannon?
I've heard whispers here and there, mentions of its name, rumors, speculation, and mostly reports of how it RAPES THE CRAP OUT OF EVERYTHING.
Can anyone provide a working download, a link, a thread, a something? I've searched, I've tried looking, I can't find it. Anywhere. And I dearly want to see this in action. Plus, all the new meat ( Me sorta included) need to be exposed to some old school awesome.

Clearly, you didn't search hard enough.

Uno. The OP either doesn't have it, and/or it doesn't work.
Dos. The one posted later in the thread doesn't work either, and is pre B22.
So clearly, you didn't read hard enough.
Can the mod converter fix it, or do we need an actual modder, or better yet numgun, to fix it?

Gonna redo it.

Also apperantly B23 delivered a final blow to that AAL ExTech pack.
The long weapon/bomb names crashed the whole damn thing and even after I fixed that, CC kept crashing midgame. I bet the bombs I was using caused it because some of them were using some really hacky stuff to have them work.

Ypsilon was semi-working, the beam phase worked fine, but the final blast never showed up. : (

So yeah, if you want to help redo the most legendary CC superweapon, head to that thread I made and give ideas and suggest stuff.

Don't forget to mention back in the olden AAL days, the Ypsilon along with the Ape bomb and Meteor bomb was hidden in secretive ways.

Yeah, I saw that thread right after I posted this. Go figure. :???: In fact, I think I have the first post in the remake thread.

Well, this thread is now useless. Can a mod lock this?

I called it the rape ape, I could never disarm it.

And what about the meteor bomb?

I loved the AlphaBomb set, I miss it ever so...

Yeah....
I never told you how you unlocked the 3 hidden bombs.

The Ypsilion bomb you had to find a Ypsilon.wav file and rename that to something like AALBombs5.ini and uncomment it in the index.

The rest you just change the Buyable value to 1.

Haha, I know, but we had this fun "hidden easter egg" trend going on back then.
All the most epic stuff was hidden for people to find out in the mod and enable it.
Then they'd be hit by the surprise at full power and go AMAGAD WTF IS THAT O_O

I've dropped that long ago though. For the casual gamer's sake.

I actually searched too hard.

I thought numgun hid it in inside thumbs.db

Don't be like Nintendo, making all their games for the "casual" players.

Oh, and thumbs.db is some sort of file made by windows when you view images from the image viewer built in XP. I don't know about Vista though.

Oh, and nummy eventually released how to unlock the weapons.
Which IIRC, is this.
