Do we need to register, or do we just submit mods to you?

I'll probably fail again, but I guess I'm in, depending on the theme.

Duh, when I have the mod in my PMs box, I'll know that you are participating in the contest.

EDIT: I give in on this whole presentation crap. Now, instead of presentations, you'll just know how many mods there are in the .rar containing all the contest mods before you download it. That's it. Eliminated all chances of prejudice.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2: The Sequel | Begins on the 6th
Igf? I voted for Cortex Command without even looking at the other entries much. Sure I saw some interesting ones, but I voted that I was already familiar with and I was too lazy to try the others either because the screenshot was boring or the idea sounded something that I wouldn't like/not interested in.
Its a mod contest were talking about. In a *small* community centered on a growing indie game. If you put up presentations, lazy people of our little community will simply vote what they see has the best presentation while the mod could have been ingame more or less than the presentation was showing off.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2: The Sequel | Begins on the 6th
Because zalo is an idiot, and doesn't seem to understand the point of this stipulation and stomped off QQing before I could finish rationalizing this, I will explain it to him in retard:
"Presentations aren't bad. They are great! It makes a product more visible! But when you are having a contest based on technical proficiency, 'Presentation' as this board knows it is not and should not be a metric."
Yes, I realize he said that he had changed that stipulation, but I think it is important to drive the point home:
PRESENTATIONS ARE OKAY. Make presentations for your ♥♥♥♥, but don't expect them to get posted during the trial phase.
Idea: Maybe allow the top three winners to post their presentations, so as to encourage people to excel at their product before focusing on their advertising campaign.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2: The Sequel | Begins on the 6th
Exam season around here, so it would be a silly time to enter a mod contest. Seems like a good idea, though; if there's one after the 25th, I'll probably submit an entry.

Re: MOD CONTEST 2: The Sequel | Begins on the 6th
last exam on friday, but due to recent humongous lack of sleep I'll probably sleep right up to the contest actually begins, sweet. then I'll do one small fix to my portal gun and release it. Then I'll work my ass off to fulfil a friends request (that I should have had done a long time ago, silly procrastination complexes) until sunday afternoon. Then depending on the theme I may or may not join because I'm lazy. off topic about procrastination: I looked up procrastination complex on google and it came up this this interesting read all you other procrastinators might want to check out: http://www.indiahowto.com/why-do-we-pro ... asons.html (anger has made me massively fail GCSE art and made me quit AS business despite being one of the best in the classes. though I think because of my quality of work but failure to attain the grade I should have my art teacher got fired... but then again he may have just left. if I am frustrated with certain code that has been giving me bugs that seem impossible to remove after many attempts -C++ memory shit- I procrastinate. perfectionism makes me barely show any of my art to anybody. no problem with downing myself though) and this: http://www.indiahowto.com/overcome-proc ... ation.html which when reading I thought "wow, it's true, anytime I've helped anyone with lua coding on the forum has been when I'm procrastinating".
