Post Blue Dummy COMPLETE
For people who didn't look at the previvous attempt read below -
This is a simple mod that will give you a new faction of blue dummies. I'm not great at sprite work, but here is my attempt.
Image
It comes with all of the blue actors and weapons(including Brain)and hopefully all bug have been fixed.

For people who saw my previous attempt read here -
Okay. I was a noob last time. I didn't change the .ini files and I didn't include a picture. This time I've changed all the ini files and included a picture so you can see my work. This should sort out all problems that people found with the mod.
Thnx, TheEvilKadowCrab.

Wouldn't count it count is as spriting, just changing colours of things.

As long as it isn't any overpowered weapon crap than it should be alright i suppose.

Alright, I'll do that tomorrow. And by the way, it's not over powered weapon crap. I only change the colour, not the variables.

The blue colour suits dummies surprisingly well, I must admit.
...I still like orange better, though.

Why not make this a new faction? The renegade dummies, or something like that. The colour scheme is neat, but I fear that a mod needs something really new to be popular, such as custom weapons and actors that are not just recolors. This could be pretty cool, if you expanded it.

Maybe you could have the actors be heavier/stronger, but give them more specialized weapons.

I agree on the dummy variations, because it doesn't take an awful lot of skill to change the color scheme of things (No offense intended). For new weapons, how about:

Proxy mine (bombs tab): Has enough power to take out both of a humanoid actor's legs, or kill a dreadnought. Drops on the ground when thrown, and activates after 5 seconds, to allow the deploying actor to get away, or walk to the other side. Detonates when anything (actor, weapon, gib, etc.) is directly above it.

Micro turret deployer (guns tab): A gun that shoots ONE micro sticky (sticks to walls, automatically goes perpendicular to attached surface) turret with a gun equivalent to an SMG. rather weak compared to the regular dummy turret, but the deployer gun reloads every minute. Can NOT be manually controlled.

Bouncy plasma gun Guns tab): shoots a single ball of bouncy plasma that does damage equivalent to 1-2 pistol hits. A short lifetime (3 seconds) limits it's effectiveness.

It doesn't take skill to change the color, but it definitely takes time. Kadow had to change each individual pixel in all of the two or three dozen sprites just for the actor. While it does of course act the same, I do like the color blue, and fighting regular dummies with a different looking one is kinda cool. :P

I love this mod even if its just color change. Now I can tell my dummies apart besides the fact of the heart color. :)

When I saw COMPLETE I thought it meant you did the Craft too. You didn't :(
Oh and it says "Rocklet" instead of Rocket. Nice job other than that :)

You moron, the dummy rocket is called a rocklet in this build.

These make a nice contrast with the normal dummies, but im not sure it's been worth all the work..

If he did it that way he's an idiot.
I could do each sprite in maybe ten clicks. Using MSPaint.
