Re: My huge pack of mods, which is back. *Update: May 26th '09*
@Orglar: 'twas pretty much a blurp of inspiration, really. It started off with me seeing the Fireworks things and fixing them up. Later, i came to the idea of the Nukehead, and then the Walking Nuke, which set off a chain-reaction of spriting on the previously fugly bombs. And i figured that while i was still on a roll, i might as well integrate some of the weird, unreleased mods i've made into the pack, the above two included. Still rolling, i set out to fix some of the annoying little bugs i've seen, and tweak some things that could have been better. And hey presto! There's an update. =P Let's just hope that i get more blurps like this, eh? @TheEvilKadowCrab: Thanks. I do have a few ideas that i ought to make, though. Among them, a walking gasbomb. The kind that goes WHOOF and floods a bunker with gas. Maybe also some kind of totally ridiculous gun that doesn't end the world in one shot.

Happens with all of them? Because last time i checked, the Mouthball Storm ate 9/10th's of the level.
Also, next update will feature a few Lua things.

Try throwing the storm version of it on plain dirt. They don't om-nom-nom through rock and concrete, iirc.

I just looked at the OP again. I took one look at the nuke. It's choice of words was impeccable. It's moving speech made me decide to download this pack again.

If they had higher mass, they might have eaten concrete and such, but for now i'm happy with its pickiness. Also! Walking Gasbomb.

I have the same problem with the nommies. Have you tweaked your time settings in settings.ini? I just extended the nommies lifetime and they work as intended.

Oh god, try using the gravity modifier from the Lua telekinesis thingy and shooting a Zero Division cannon at it, then throwing it with a push.
Epic win.

mail2345 wrote: I imagine epic lag with your epic win. I agree with this man. =P Anyhoo, a new update is in the making, which, if all goes well, should be available for download within the next 1-2 hours. If not, it'll be tomorrow. What's updated, you ask? Well... - Sporadic respriting done in the pack, making some things look better. - Walking Gasbomb, Gas Drone and Gas Bomb added. All of them with Lua gas, that drains the life of... Well, everything that has life. Suffocation for fleshies, corrosion for the others. - A few tweaks here and there, among them the removal of the short-lived nametag that appears when firing a Slammer. - Drone flight animation shortened and improved. - Pyro Streamer renamed to Pyro Carpet. (Reason belooooooow...) Along with all this, i'll also be making the new Pyro Streamer shortly, which is essentially a rapid-fire Pyro weapon. And no, it's not a fully automatic Pyro Cannon. >.> Edit: Allright, everything's ready to go, BUT! Due to a combination of me being an arse and me not having enough time left of the day (1:05 AM), i'll release it tomorrow. Which, if i know my sleeping habits right, is in 11-12 hours.
