That seems rather uninspired

yeah I just drew it without thinking about anything in particular, I was really tired and couldn't be bothered to do any hard work so I opened up paint, zoomed in and drew a little space ship, then added gunshots, a little power up thing and an enemy, was going to draw more enemies a healthbar, power bar, rest of the UI and stars but couldn't be bothered, then tricked krumbs into thinking it was an in-game screenshot, laughed watched a video then went to bed.

I googled starborn and all the sites I got suggested that starborn is the term for something that is born on another planet, or the name of an actual alien species, or it means "Originated from a star".

So yeah.

Looks like a game that should go into the IGF.

I must say that the title isn't very creative, but other than that it's great. (yeah I know how hard making a title for something can be. I have a few, mostly just conceptual/designs, game projects that all have generic names, a couple are good though)

Well, I think it's pretty safe to assume that you don't have dynamic terrain, so at least no reason to do dynamic water :|

do like armour design. needs scuttly things for creatures. i do like how the vegetation looks, kinda painted-y. ground texture could use some high detail and then LOD, but thats just picky XD
