The shiny parts look good. With them the necs won't look so monochromatic. Inuyashe wrote: All open the champagne! Skeleton-boyz are comin! Time ta crak some metal skullz!!! WaaaaagggGGhHHHH!

Re: Kustom - Necrons
I didn't know how the Necrons were supposed to look. Now that I saw them, I understand the point of them being monochromatic. The color scheme is still a bit dull, but since the creator of the sprites has been so faithful to the original creatures, I guess it's a good work. Which in fact is what I think

Orky here is usually quite faithful to the canon. He's not going to miss them for sure. Though he has a habit of adding non-canon stuff(maybe it's just the orks mod).

Ork-Gothic wrote: else is necessary do ELDARS =)) No. Someone should do tyranids. The eldar are... I might get banned, so I'll refrain form writing it. But anyone who's played any DoW knows what I mean. Besides, the eldar would get slaughtered in a second by a fudging SMG, never mind the heavier weapons even the dummies carry. They'd only be useful against zombies.

Re: Kustom - Necrons
You haven't played Eldar have you?
They are powerful invisible death machines that can teleport WHEREVER THE FRICK THEY WANT. And if they somehow can't teleport somewhere, they'll just teleport a teleporter there so that they can teleport out of it.
I bet they could fly if they wanted to, but they won't. Because they can teleport.
Also, their giant robots are controlled by the ghosts of their fallen heroes and have laser explosive cannons on their shoulders.
And they have swords that glow and can slice through power armor.
They're also magical.
Oh, I almost forgot, one of their most powerful units is, in fact, a part of their fallen god of war.
So yeah.
(I'd do it, but I know I'll never finish.)

Re: Kustom - Necrons
I know about the other guys! I just named my other three favourites!
And sorry, Metal, but 3 solid is right. If ya use Webway gates right, the whole map can potentially be your base and your army can strike in places unexpected and unknown. Eldar wouldn't be that good in CC, though... speedy... but it would still be hard to dodge...

Re: Kustom - Necrons
Agility is useless in 2D. It's easy enough to spray bullets in front of you in any 3D shooter to kill something charging you, but in 2D? The poor space elfs wouldn't stand a chance against a shoota/bolter/lasgun/assault rifle. Teleportation might be their one redeeming quality, but someone eventually is going to make Spahees Mahreen Terminators. But back to the Necrons, because that's what this topic's about. I can't wait to see these guys ripping apart everything thrown at them. Maybe they'll even dissapear if they take enough losses, that would be brutal.
