Dude. People are critiquing their mods, and are perfecting them as we speak probably. Most people would keep messing with their mods until the final submission date then turn it in. That's all. I, however, am prbably not going to particapate bc im busy with my lua.

EDIT: I would recommend submitting pretty soon, so that you don't forget until too late.

I'm out, I forgot the submission date was coming this soon and even though I could still put something decent together, I would rather go play around with Lua. Note to self: start earlier next time.

It motivated me to much, I finished it in one sitting right away, submitted it and was like... We... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFWhat do I do now....?

The result is I made a song out of cortex command sounds. All at Base.rte/Gui/sounds ! I just uploaded it. But seriously, if its such a great motivator, how come there's like 7/20 submissions in? it motivates some....

wasting our time and doing everything last minute
using all the time we have to make something to the best of our abilities
forgetting the contest altogether
bad at modding

Waisting your time untill last minute is what I do, and I still finished.

Forgetting the contest, Thats why I made my mod right way, so I didn't forget.

Bad at modding. - Thats not an excuse not to work at it. even bad moders can make things go boom. sometimes the most entertaining ones are noob bombs. as long as they don't have TDE's exploding into more TDE's I think we'll be fine.

What if you dont make just 1 gun? Or make your own effects? Or make custom gibs?

an hour a day from the start should get all the time you need to make anything. Unless the laziness gets to you first.
