Yet another suggestion, but with a video!
After recently discovering fraps works in windowed mode, I made a short gameplay video of the mother crab fight with some added sounds and dramatic effects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9UP1t2uY6AThere are 2 things I'd like to suggest with it. The first being a minor asthetical addition to the crab, easily implemented if not yet planned. The sound effects. While i haven't looked at how the crab works, I'm assuming his leap is from a held weapon. A roar of sorts could be the firing sound, and a nice thud noise for his body hit sound. That is, unless the body hit sound is only sounded when the actor takes fall damage. (Is it?) The second point revolves around the handling of autoscuttle reguarding the end of the video. The angle of the rocket should be measured from the vertical, not the rockets original rotation. At the end of the video after crushing the crab, the rocket has won the battle and is on 95hp and still very functional, but then due to its overloaded gyro as soon as I hop out it decides to explode on me, killing me. The same thing goes for dropships. It's possible to roll a dropship over onto its roof and back to its doors facing downwards, but with its facing angle now being 360 from 0, its manuevering thruster needs to flip it all the way around again, but by this time its already on the ground unable to flip again so it just grinds away its health untill it explodes. Fixing this could mean barrell roll recovering dropships and safely summersaulting rockets. Great fun. Hope you enjoyed the video, too.

And about the crafts, i think they should have a function that one can turn on or off that acts as an autoscuttle function.

Also that video was hysterical at the end. flipping around with the rocket. those are some good skills with a rocket. I'm impressed. also stop showing off that you can run CC and raps and still get that same framerate.

You'll also notice it gets rather laggy for half a second around the middle.

It does detect any other game which is odd. Gonna try reinstalling since I've been messing with the Settings.ini a bit too much.

Also the mega crab needs to not be able to jump in mid air when it's got no legs.
Lua can't access attachments, I know, but give the legs a gib particle with a script that interacts with the actor's script to lessen jumping ability, or something like that.
And for other jumping, using jetpacks is ridiculous when a jumping limbpath is right there in AHuman inis, just waiting to be used. Can it be activated by Lua? I've tried and it failed, but it was likely an error on my account.

I hadn't tried again after it didn't work the first time (bout the time of B14) and then after recently downloading fraps for other stuff and getting B23 it started working. Mind you not in fullscreen. It may depend on your fraps version. I don't really know why it works now. It even works on some java applets in firefox which it never used to.

Re: Yet another suggestion, but with a video!
Wierd stuff, I tried a full reinstall of both fraps and CC, but no luck. No good ideas what to do now except for delete both fraps and CC, CCLeaner, Restart and reinstall both and restart again.
Darn. Just when I was getting excited making my own vids. I have lots of experience in video editing and stop motion animations and stuff like that but just if I could get the damn recording program to run properly.
Say, do you know if any of those other programs like Xfire or gamecam can capture CC footage? PrntScr gives me massive lag if I use that so I cannot rely on it. : /

That's odd. I got it to work in windowed mode in Vista, but not XP. Something tells me you are using XP. That's how I recorded this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL8crq1h-DEMaybe you could mail Fraps support. Also, I hear HyperCam gets the job done. (It's a free trial) http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/And CamStudio might be a good thing to try out too (It's free). http://camstudio.org/

Actually, I just tried it again on XP, and I got it to work there too. Weird.
Did you try using a VGA resolution? And the Full Version of Fraps?
