Getting a new compy, wanting opinions.
im going to be getting a new computer soon. it will be one of the following configurations: Code: - 2.33GHz core 2 quad, 4GB ram, 1TB HDD, Radeon 4830HD - 3.0GHz core 2 duo, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD, Radeon 4830HD each of them will probably have my 19" 1440x900 moniter glued to it. my question to you is, which one would you get, and why? just in case it matters to your decisions, they cost exactly the same amount.

Re: Getting a new compy, wanting opinions.
I would get the second one, because it has a better CPU. HDD space is cheap and getting cheaper, and replacing a CPU is expensive and annoying compared to putting in a new HDD.

The core clock isn't the only thing that matters. Also the first one is a quad core while the second one is a dual core. What model is the CPU?

Re: Getting a new compy, wanting opinions.
Should have got the second one. I personally just upgraded from a 3.2Ghz dual core to a 2.6Ghz quad core, and my computer seems ALOT slower.

Re: Getting a new compy, wanting opinions.
I'd say the second one with a 1TB drive. Unless you can't do that, then the first one.
TB drives kick ass.
