Post Targettable, not-getting-hit actor?
Hi.
I don't make mods or whatnot, I just fiddle with the base .ini files and whatnot (which most of the time ends with quite delicious, overpowered results)

Anyway, I had this one idea.
I would want to make an actor, which doesn't get hit by MOs, but can still be targetted by the AI. Ie. they could destroy his weapon, but not him.

I tried fiddling with the HitsMOs and GetsHitByMOs variables, but the actor was always either killable or the AI just didn't see him.

Is there a way to make him completely invulnerable to fire and make the Ai target him, or do I have to at least make one gib be a 'weak point' of sorts?

Thanks in advance.

Well if you make him totally unable to be hit, guess what, AI ignores him. That's your only "invincibility" solution.

However, you can make all the body parts out of the Test material. Then, you can't shoot him, wound him in any way, but all the parts can still be gibbed off. It's actually a fairly good balance.

So, if I change the body parts from whatever he has to Test, he will be frikin' hard to kill, but still killable and the AI will still target him?
Sweet.

Or you could lua kill any particle in it's vicinity.

try in the update event in a lua file:
Code:
if self.health < 100 then
self.health = 100;
end

Wow, that looks like it could work! LOL.
