Re: B23 Bugs, report the minor annoying things here.
I made a quick and simple map with the scene editor using the Ketanot Hills backdrop, and stupidly saved it to the same rte. Now, after restarting CC, I get RTE Abortion in \System\Reader.cpp line 531, because: Referring to an instance ('Base.rte/Ketanot Hills Terrain') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in Base.rte/Scenes/Ketanot Hills.ini at line 8!
No mods, just a fresh install.
Oh, and PLEASE make these error messages copy+pastable; put them in a text log file or something, this abortscreen.bmp deal is ridiculous.
I think this is the first time I've really whined on the CC Forums! Hurray for me.

Re: B23 Bugs, report the minor annoying things here.
The problem is that you overwrote the original Ketanot Hills file, which had a Ketanot Hills Terrain defined in it. The scene editor assumed you were making a different map, so it just said to make a copy of said terrain. Seeing as how it's overwritten now, though, the copy can't be made. http://pastebin.com/m7cd36782Just replace the file with that again.

Ok, got it. Thanks for the file. That said though, I can't imagine I'd be the only person to have done this. I wonder how many newbies did the same thing and just wrote CC off because of this issue? Maybe it would be better if the default file name wasn't the base file name when saving.

By the way you can copy any windows error message by clicking to focus on the window and then ctrl C.

Re: B23 Bugs, report the minor annoying things here.
More of a suggestion than a bug. Because of the multitude of added maps, it is super difficult to scroll through all of the maps with the crappy menu. I suggest a new menu with (perhaps) a preview, so that you can actually see what you are about to play. Maybe the preview will be possible when the minimap is implemented?
as someone said, Browncoats are too weak. shitty maps and please fix the issue where you can't put gold or boulders in a map because they will float in mid air. It is the stupidest thing ever when you see a patch of gold floating in midair. "no turret!" on the medic drone (the drones themselves don't really bother me) It still irritates me that on the buy menu all the acrabs show up as unidentifiable torsos. Things like molotov cocktail use the same effect x500. Really, really, REALLY ugly. Flamers are kinda cool, but they don't have enough thickness. Napalm should damage people (it does a little already, but I am asking for more, I guess) and it should light the ground on fire. Teleporter sprites don't really match- should be a full 48x48 sprite, not just the 4 circles.
and one thing that I really love and had no idea was coming- the docks. They are cool, I've been waiting for something like that for ages.

Re: B23 Bugs, report the minor annoying things here.
I noticed some maps don't spawn baddies in single player mode. I wait a couple minutes, even on death mode with nothing on the board except a brain. (So nothing blocking coming down and it's actually in the game itself and not build phase.) Actually come to think of it, their all maps I've either edited, or opened in the editor and used save (and named it something different) so maybe that's it. Particularly i noticed it with Pillar, Flatland Large and the one with the train (Sorry, can't remember the name). Other maps I load will work fine. A suggestion would be to remove crabs from the buy menu. I have a brother who has the "strategy" of putting a hundred crabs (well ~20) in a crate and dropping it. Slows the game down to crap and is annoying. I loved the medic bots, something I was thinking I'd love to see for a while. I agree though that the "no turret" thing should be removed on non turret bots. Can't wait now for b24...

Foolster, smack your brother and don't ask to have our fun [undoably] ruined. Even though it's already been said that crabs would be unbuyable eventually anyway.
Wow, has no one used the b23 repeller gun? It's insanely overpowered as a melee weapon, it can easily propel most operators from its recoil, and it digs! It's screwy, unbalanced, and I'm just about certain it's not the intended repeller function.

What does the napalm flamer actually do compared to the normal flamer? The normal seems to do more damage. Also whats with the yellow lines in the flamer and bombs, are they just effects or are they actually meant to do damage?

Also, I'm not sure if the devs intended this or not but you can wield a Nailer cannon with a shield.

AI is unable to shoot weapons with startup time. (Nice variable, that.) Propably because they operate the trigger by having a seizure.

I dont like the skirmish maps with the brain already placed, seeing as it starts the game. I'd much rather have time to place my sentries first. The bunkers are fine, just the brain and no building annoy me.
And the mother crab needs a melee attack. I was thinking she could dual weild some sort of invisible shovel with his leap gun. The shovel ofcourse having a much higher firing rate.

None of those are bugs though, squeegy. Please only post actual glitches and bugs in the game, not just suggestions for improvements.

Re: B23 Bugs, report the minor annoying things here.
If you move up to where the new enemies start spawning on Dummy Assault and then take more than 30 minutes to destroy their brain, an enemy dummy will destroy it with a digger for you (has happened three times in a row, can't say if it always will happen).
Two suggestions rather than bugs (yes, I know :/ ) : It would be nice to be able to expand your order zone in maps like dummy assault once you've taken out the their first sniper and have taken over the tower yourself. Some kind of way to call down BunkerSystems (docks in particular) would be extremely useful. On Maginot, I lost my brain because the rocket wouldn't stand still when I was about to escape. Or rockets could simply (not simple to do I wager) be redesign to more easily stand still on completely flat hard surfaces.

Re: B23 Bugs, report the minor annoying things here.
Minorly annoying:
The First Signs egg ball crab spawner thing looks awful. The sprites for it are great, and that's a perfectly fine idle animation for it, but it needs to visually spit out the crabs, rather than just spawn them significantly below it.
This is not a bug and you should not have made this post --future Azukki
