 B23: Error after loading the game.

Post B23: Error after loading the game.
Ive noticed a few other people having similar problems to this. When I run CC, It runs through the loading stuff, but before it can play the intro movie/display the main menu it crashes, and i get the following error:

in Base.rte/Scenes/Fight1.ini at line 658!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'


After that error, I get an additional one from windows:

Click on OK to terminate the program.



Im running on a 64bit vista. I didnt have this problem with build 22. I tried to find this "fight1.ini" but it appears it does not exist in Base.rte/Scenes

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I Have basically the same error after playing around with "Horiz Land". Re-Install didn't help. Where is this abort.bmp file? Is there something stored that doesn't get deleted during uninstall? It did work great until I fooled around with the editor.

I'd really appreciate a solution since I just bought the game ;-)

Hey, just found a solution: "Run as Administrator" gives CC the necessary privileges to copy that damn file...
