Re: Alienware desktop.
Yeah, hurr, it says STARTING AT $800 which means there's going to be completely garbage specifications and nowhere near what you posted in the OP. Building what you mentioned with about 1tb space would cost around $1000+ from scratch, without alienware. With the alienware prebuilt shit it's going to cost around $5000 dollars. A reach from 800.

Re: Alienware desktop.
Unless it's a laptop. Then you kinda have to have it from a company. Wish that wasn't the case... Hm. Glowing clear fiberglass laptop case

Re: Alienware desktop.
Actually, you can build a laptop. Get a laptop w/o graphics card, ram or CPU. And it has to have slots for those.
Then get those.
Not exactly from scratch, but close enough.

Re: Alienware desktop.
My computer also looks very disgusting, and It's an "all in one" computer, which I was told couldn't have any of it's parts replaced unless you split it in half or something.

Re: Alienware desktop.
OMG, Please don't tell me your buying alienware (SUPER OVERPRICED TO THE MAX). Build it yourself, it's not that hard. I chose part for you if you want. EDIT: I just noticed the specs and needed to kill myself. 1. 4 TB hard drive capacity. ^^^ WTF YOU ONLY NEED LIKE 640 GIGS.
2. An AMD Phenom II X4 925 processor. With the price, you should be getting a i7.
3. NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 dual GPU graphics card. Crap card to the prices standards.
4. Dual ATI CrossFire, and something about 50% performance increase by syncing to cards together to perform as one. Why the ♥♥♥♥ are they talking about crossfire when a nvidia card is selected?
5. Blu-ray. Unneeded.
This is how prebuilt's make their computer to drive you in: Huge Unnecessary harddrive (I can barely fill up 250 gigs) + Flashy features (Card readers, Blu-Ray drives) + Crap processors + Crap GPU's with descriptions on features that don't mean anything + Flashy Case = PEOPLE BUYING IT.

Re: Alienware desktop.
I easily fill up 300 gigs of my 500GB HDD, so uhh... no such thing as unnecessary HDD size. Anyway, just some random info: Ophanim wrote: DAMN YEAH SON YOU GOTTA PUT YOU SOME DOPE ♥♥♥♥ LEDS UP IN THAT ♥♥♥♥ RED MAKE IT FASTA NAW MEAN?
