Alienware desktop.
I'm going to get an Alinware Aurora desktop, so here are some things it has.
1. 4 TB hard drive capacity.
2. An AMD Phenom II X4 925 processor.
3. NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 dual GPU graphics card.
4. Dual ATI CrossFire, and something about 50% performance increase by syncing to cards together to perform as one.
5. Blu-ray.
EDIT: Oops, put it into the wrong forum.

Re: Alienware desktop.
Looks pretty good for it's price. Although computers cost like twice as much in Finland than they do in the USA and my information is a bit outdated. The only thing I'd change is the GPU. A single HD 4870 is more stabile and cheaper and performs better in some games. Edit: I'd guess the two GPUs mean you can pick one. Dunno.

wut Same reaction I had, I just assumed it was something new computers were doing that I didn't know about.

Re: Alienware desktop.
I don't think crossfire is compatible with nvidia cards, IIRC they have something similar but with a different name.

Re: Alienware desktop.
ok well how about you post a link to this computer because I'm thinking everything on this build must be garbage-quality
Either your harddrives are garbage-quality, or your RAM is garbage quality.

Re: Alienware desktop.
You realise that the $800 has lesser functions compared to the badass setup you've mentioned which would cost about $2-3000...?
