The contest starts on the 16th, if that helps your decision any. Modding time after that will be two weeks, then another week for voting.

Oh, and I have decided on a theme. Everybody will have to wait until the 16th though. It will be a weapons theme, no need to worry about actors or craft.

Update. I listened to several people who said a wait time of a week was a little much, so I've moved everything ahead. Rules finalization day is now the 10th (tomorrow), and start date is the 11th. Mod submission deadline is two weeks after the start date, and voting deadline a week after that.

I would join if I knew that I didn't have to make actors or anything with lua. I don't have school or a job, so I could literally make the entire thing in one long sitting.

Could you state how big the mods should be, IE minimum submission sort of thing. are we making factions or what?

What counts as a mod already released? If I were to make a cannon that shoots a slug that sucks in any actors to crush them and made nice sprites and effects for it would it count?

Um, this is going to be one weapon or one actor, but duh said hes gunna stick with HDFirearms because many people cant make actors from scratch

I asked duh that question, because i was going to enter something i just made a week ago and i didnt release, but he said that it has to be made new, starting on the 11th. Nothing you made before that, regardless of if you released it or not, is not to be entered

Looks like more clarification is in order. Sorry to everyone whom I confused about the already released part. For the sake of future ease of mind, I will not be accepting mods that were made before the start date.
Also, yes, the theme is centered around weapons, no actors or lua or scenes (required that is, you're always welcome to above and beyond).

C'mon people, this is a great idea. It's something to do to put off those who would rather complain than get something done. We've hardly exhausted all possible mods for current builds, stop acting like we need Lua to do anything.

Back in my day, we didn't have no fancy "lua" to look forward to, so we just ♥♥♥♥ DID it.
