It's amazing to see so many people and pages got involved in the creation of one actor.

One that has been promised to be made so many times and never done. This would be such an epic actor to be passed up on.

Right now we are dealing with some one big problem, and the rest is minor issues.
The big problem is how the arm interacts with the arm weapon.

Minor issues are mostly polishing up things, like replacing gibs, and strengthening the armor.

All we have to do is solve the issue on one weapon, and set the rest to be held the same way.

Couldn't the Weapon just be an arm? Sounds a bit crazy, but if it's possible, We could finish it!

We can take inspiration from the AAL runner. Look at that code and sprites.

Maybe put the weapon sprite into the arm and use Null.bmp for the weapon? But you'd end up with the same sprite for all the weapons that way. Multibarreled armweapon thing?

Currently from the elbow up is the arm, and elbow down is the weapon.
The weapons use the same basic arm sprite, the only difference is the hand to distinguish which weapon your on.

If you check back a few posts, Zalo posted the most recent project file.
Your welcome to take a look, and mess with it as much as you want.

There's something very wrong with the arms' sprites orientation. Try doing the arms as a one sprite as I suggested and orient it like the vanilla sprites' arms are. Then I can do something with the weapons.

Okay can do.
May take a bit I have work today, and company coming in from Arizona.
I should have them posted tonight.

Also how hard would it be to make all the weapons dual wield?
hmmm maybe only the blasters now that I think about it.

Not very hard. Just a one variable change and some copypasting.

Instead of doing addtogroup = weapons, do addtogroup = shields, and give him 2. It does work.
