I like how the current system works, its not THAT bad, if we had separate sprites for the thigh and calf, Things would look horrible, outline glitches, etc, etc. Some effects wouldn't be possible, like maybe when it's bending completely, it's blue, and as it extends it changes colors randomly. Lots of things like that would be impossible.
If you have trouble with how it works now, just use templates and use the leg/arm sprites that are there as an example.
Whenever I make an Actor or some sort of animation, I always put as many frames as I can without going into a coma.
It's fine like it is, I don't think anything should be changed in that respect.

I have a faction called the oil faction, the thread died a while ago, but I'm planning on getting back to work on it, and I haven't updated my signature in a while. i hope it gets released in the next few weeks so my internet isnt capped when i have to DL it.. i dont want to have to wait for anything this epic. especially if its a lot bigger on datasize. the annoying this is knowing that lua works (the developer's alpha and discussion proves that much), and presets, which are what most people really wanted. its just polishing thats happening, by the looks of it, unless there is some superhuge secret ingredient none of us know.
