I am working up a mountain-ish BG sprite for you right now nummy. And I agree with what everybody else is saying, the blood needs to be darker.

I don't mind the blood as it is.
Also, is the guy in the top left of your death screenshot carrying a shield of some sort? I'd assumed that was some sort of rocket tube when you posted pics of it before...

Yeah thats the new battle shield. Stronger and larger than a riot shield.
The sprite is a little messy and too dark at some part, needs some fixing there.

Also by making backgrounds I also meant you can find pictures on the internet and then apply the palette on it. Note that sometimes when you do so the colors get fudged up. So if you make them make sure they look good with the palette applied to it.

The first one. The second one looks 3d, and the 1st one is the better out of the remaining 2.

Hmm... Give em all, theres no telling how will they look ingame until I test them.
But they look really good I must say. Especially if they are in CC palette.

Cool beans, just made 5 new maps and more betatesting myself.
Ironed the balance of weapons and such.

I've also been playing with the idea of a Dropship docking system.
In that picture you can see how it would work.
(It sort of does even now, but theres a change the DS will autoscuttle for no apperant reason.)

I'm thinking of making an official dropship docking unit that would use Lua to
hold the craft if its set to a certain mode or flies into it or something.
Not so sure how would it work, but I must say parking a dropship in your badass hangar is lots of fun.

Btw in that lowest pic I had some epic EAGLE EYE moment when this AI guy threw a grenade and I shot at it with the revolver and hit it right there. Awesome.

Wow! That docking system will prove to be useful!! Especially if you laued in a pilot system.

I think using pinstrength and aimodes you could have the player easily control when the dropship is docked. I'll come back with some code soon.

Haha, funny. No, I mean a more 'craft/vehicle-oriented game mode'. You can get into ships and fight your friends on them. Get shot down, then run towards the hanger and grab another ship.
