Post Map making Error
So yeah i made this map and everytime i try and run it it always only has the default texture.

Can someone show me the way not to make a map and the way to make a map.

Sorry but i cannot post the map. All i can tell you is that i use the same textures from Horiz land except its about 2 times the size of horiz land.

The code is just a copy of horizland with different names.

Simple as that :P.

What am i doing wrong?

Also The Default stuff will fall though even if a shell hits it. Sometimes it just falls for no reason, And its not fun to look at at all!

Just RED On Black.

I put the blue sky stuff (0 0 255) and the Purple stuff (255 0 255 or FF00FF).
Help meh i'm teh noobs.

You're probably using the wrong pallette. There's a different pallette for bunker modules and maps to everything else. The bunker module fg and bg images should still be in normal pallette though :P

Y wrap won't make it do default. You are almost definitely out of pallette if it only shows default for the entire map. Look up the pallette, then replace all bad colours.

I don't know if this is even still active, but if it is, I have your solution.
You are not in palette.
Even if you use the colors from the other maps
You are not in palette.
You have to open a existing, (working) map and save it under your new name.
Now you are in palette.
If you are by any chance in paint.net,
You are not in palette.
-Even if you do all these steps, paint.net and perhaps other programs (I don't know which ones for sure) will take you out of palette. Good software that does work with indexed palettes include:
Photoshop
Gimp (free downloadable version online)
GraphicsGale (free downloadable version online)
Corel Paintshop (not positive, but reasonably sure)
MS Paint (I don't suggest using this unless you are too lazy or cheap to get any of the other ones)

[/rant]

oh, and by the way, there is a scene making sub-forum of scene releases. I suggest posting there with map questions.

Turns out i just had Y Wrap on. Meh.

I've noticed lag in my map, it could just be the grass Gibbing into particles (Bigass map) Or the fact that it is really big.

Thank you all, if there was a Rep system you'd have some noob rep.
