HELP!
Hello... I want that the heavy Sniper rifle fires somthing like a 3 round burst. How can i create an effect like this? Please help i am really new at making Mods. Crisp

Nobody as of yet has been able to make something like that. Many people have planned to try again next build, but as of yet it is impossible using any easy means.
Also, try to be more specific with thread titles, it is a warnable offence as well as the fact that some members may flame you for it.

Hmmm... could you add a null tracer to add delay? Or maybe the third round is a tracer that somehow has a slow reload... or something like that...
Yeah I'm new at modding.
Or maybe the first round is actually an emitter that sticks with your gun and emits three rounds at succesion, and the other two null? So guys is this possible?

We haven't got sticky particles yet. And you'd have to have the magazine sizes a third of what they should be. But I think it's possible using like a slot or something... but would it orient properly? Hmm.... this sounds like something I should try later...

Maybe try a short-lived particle that shoots three round in rapid succesion? Very rapid that the human eye is fooled...

Yes, but you'd lack the ability to spray around, which is one of the benefits of three round bursts.

Make the round a 1 velocity AEmitter with a lifetime of 3. give it a super fast emission rate and make the emissions, single bullets...
The result you create a nul object that spits out 3 bullets in super-rapid succession, resulting in burst-fire. Unfortunately if your falling or flying the first bullet will come from the barrel, and the rest will come from the point the barrel was a moment ago (per burst). it's not impossible its just not easy or perfect.

Yes, but then you wouldn't be able to have a magazine limit... like as in firing ten bursts before reloading...

A few days ago I made burst fire that kind of worked. Basically, the gun has an attachable, and it shoots backwards into the attachable, and then the attachable gets a wound, which then shoots a three round burst. It's a flawed method of course, but it's about as close to actual functional burst fire as has been done and can be done without Lua. I'm sure it can be improved on for reliability and all that to some extent for now, and with B23 it'll be possible to improve on this tremendously. I'll upload and elaborate on my description in a bit, it's on the other computer. Be warned, this gun is as generic and unoriginal as can be with the exception of the burst fire function. I'm certainly open for comments on it, and I would imagine they would be fine for this topic, since it's about how to go about burst fire and this is an example.

Azukki's burst fire works pretty well except for a few issues, both minor and major. Minor (Easily fixed): -The sound -There is only one shell Major (Less Easily Fixed): -It doesn't fire when aimed at certain angles and then randomly -What happens when someone shoots you
