I've been talking to Flammalezombie and I believe what hes doing is making the whole arm a weapon that attaches at the elbow and the hands change when you cycle through weapons... also a cool feature where you can see a missile popping out the hand when a new missile is loaded 411570N3 wrote: I still don't think it looks quite right, try making the thing horizontally wider as it moves up... Also, the bottom segment should be vertically shorter as it moves up. the last two legs i extended horizontally and messed with the feet i think you were right that helped a lot for the top now i will work on the bottom part of the legs this is just something i was playing around with i thought maybe some armor should be destructible and come off in battle

I still think it needs more extension, look at it and check visually if they look the same length, the problems will be more apparent in-game. But yes, it is improving. =)

His avatar has the French flag. He'll surrender to you now Flammable Zombie. I'll help with this or, at least while I can. I'm going to Normandy in two weeks.

They're all good, I think, but I'm not the spriter. EDIT: If you want you could bulk up the Jetpack and separate it from the torso, although we're still deciding how it should look. Once everything's decided I'll make it.

Re: looking for help (whitebot brainbot)
shadow717 and Manticore your both more than welcome to help this is a old file but the sprites are pretty much the latest ones. or you can wait till i update with a working version with i hope to have out here soon right now i working on using the dummy template to bang out a working rough draft of the code. all help is welcome and all skill levels. that means sprites, sounds, code, ideas, we could even use a logo *update* Made some sort of noob mistake that i cant figure out. So i loaded my sprites into the dummy template and when i load the actor viewer i still get pink? so naturally i think i just had the wrong pink so i check the RGB values of the existing dummy sprites and its 255-0-255 and mine are 255-0-255???? so my question is in ms paint when you save as bitmap are you guys saving it as a 16, 24, or 256 color bitmap? or did i do something else wrong sorry for the lack of grammar and punctuation I'm tired and frustrated

Open a vanilla sprite, do your stuff into it and save it as a new file. Don't touch the bitmap settings.

Sorry for my message, I want to help you but I'm a very bad spriter and coder. Ok, I just LOOK as you say. PS: Yes I am French.

Re: looking for help (whitebot brainbot)
Good. If you see anything we're doing horribly wrong, just say and we'll try to fix it. Just be constructive. On topic: I'm having real trouble with the weapons. I've tried multiple vague hopes, but none work. Can someone help? Only the claw works. I will upload. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The RPG is not really tweaked a lot, but it needs bug fixes before it can have anything done to it. Same with the auto blaster. Note that these are blatantly ripped from the vanilla code, but I am gonna make the weapons unique (ish).

Re: looking for help (whitebot brainbot)
Sure, I can help. What do you mean by bug fixing? And why are the .inis all screwed up?
