as a matter of fact, it did that to me as well,

Actually the door is kind of funny. Whenever you fight stronger units, they survive the beam and got sucked into the door, and you can release them out later. I used it to convert a few crobotechs into my men in this way, only to have them turned into shreds after they touch the beam the second time.

The door must be a counter measure for stronger units. Those that survive the beam would get sucked in, instead of got stuck in front of the shredder and have a chance to destroy it.

No, I meant putting a door in front of it, inside the range of the dropship tractor beam... sometimes some dropships glitch and suck in pinned objects in this way, I was wondering if this did so too.

Thank you, it did originally pull faster but that resulted in the target not dieing.

Thanks, I was gonna do this eventually, it requires repositioning of the gibs though, and that's one big pain in the neck.

I'm currently working on a "Rayshield," bullets pass though but actors don't, and, hopefully, a collapsing bridge or some kind of other structure. (Thanks to Foa for this idea) I will also add modules that use Lua when build 23 is released.

Just plain awesome.. it could use a self-cleaing ability or something.. i always get my
troops shredded when theyre trying to clean the Shredder, and i never remember to put it off :C

Very fun to use but the area around it can get cluttered with eh, leftover parts pretty fast.
Also can you make it a bit stronger? things like Oppressors either get insta-eaten or curl up into a ball as the shredder tickles it.
I look forward to whatever death traps you come up with next.

Can someone repost that, I can't seem to find it. Once I get the file I'll begin work on it, it sounds waaay cooler than my rayshield idea.

Edit: I've just had an awesome idea for a cleaning emitter, I'll work on tomorrow if I have time.
