When CC is ranked higher than the grand prize winner, you know you're doing something right.

Interesting....
The reviewer appears to have shied away from criticality of any form... which, if I knew nothing of any of these games, would raise quite a bit of suspicion...

Hopefully this will attract more people. More people = more popularity. More popularity = higher demand for a finished product.

If you think that more fans = faster development then you may be dissapointed.
I doubt Data even reads the forums that much, so he wouldn't even know.

More people = more trolls on the forums
more people = more bad mods
More people = small chance for good mods
more people = more units sold (IE data makes money)
More data money = data buys robot hooker
robot hooker = no production, unless he makes it doe the work.
More people = more bad jokes
more people = more server timeouts
I'm not sure if getting a flood of people from GAME F-ING INFORMER is gonna be good, How many people read Game informer? ALOT, its a NATION WIDE MAG!, MILLIONS read it, if MILLIONS of people suddenly flock to DRL, the servers might crash, we're not used to handling that many users.

Lets say there are 15 million people reading IGN, and lets say ONLY 1/10 of them actually come here, thats 5 Million people, now lets say that of the people who come here, only 1 out of 20 like the game, and make an account, thats 250,000 new accounts on the forums, Of course if of those 9/10s of those buy the game, thats 225,000 sold units, 225,000 * $18 = $4,050,000 for data, More than enough to upgrade the servers.

So like I said, If IGN had 15 mil people, 10% come here, 5% of that stay, and 90% buy it, then Data will buy a robotic hooker for more than 4 million dollars, and only have 1K for server updates.

1 tenth of 15 million is not 5 million..........its 1.5 million

right, my bad. I went retarded for a minute, lets re-do those figures

15.M /10 = 1.5 M,

1,500,000/20 = 75,000
75,000*0.9 = 67,500
67,500 * $18 = $1,215,000

1.2 Million dollars, not quite robot hooker grade spending, but certainly imported Vietnamese prostitute, maids, and a lifetime supply of beer that tastes like hamburgers. I don't see vietnamese maid meat-beer data being very productive.

I'm not sure he would buy a robot hooker. He is happily married after all. More like he would spend it all on ammo and guns.

Fine a robotic Maid with a chainsaw.

but your right, he'd probably buy more guns. actually, I think he'd probably move someplace that he could legally own bigger guns. and missiles.

He'd put all of his money in a bank.

Then he'd save it until he could afford to buy a military base.

Then he'd live there with many guns and missiles.

Maybe even a nuke if the base comes with one of those.
